In a quiet corner of long nights and broken code, I’ve been building something that feels bigger than just a project — a hospital EMR system designed to make patient and staff management smoother, faster, and more reliable.
It started simply: a basic idea to register staff and store patient records. Step by step, I began shaping it into something real — connecting a backend with authentication routes, learning how data flows between controllers and databases, and even seeing records successfully stored in PostgreSQL. Those small wins kept the momentum alive.
But development hasn’t been without challenges. I ran into security concerns — realizing that anyone could access the system and register as staff if proper protections weren’t in place. I’ve also faced deployment issues, module errors, and structural confusion while trying to make everything work cleanly together.
Right now, I’m at a crucial stage: the foundation is built, core features are working, and data is flowing correctly — but the system still needs stronger security, better structure, and more polished workflows to feel complete.
It’s not finished yet, but it’s real. And it’s growing into something that could actually matter
