Greetness is our Covenant Birthright

The w**e ran out.
The celebration was at risk.
But Mary brought the situation to Jesus.
Nearby stood six stone jars used for Jewish purification.
Jesus told the servants:
“Fill the jars with water.”
They obeyed.
When the master of the banquet tasted what had been drawn from the jars, it had become w**e.
And John tells us:
“He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.”
📖 John 2:1–11
This wasn't simply about w**e.
John presents it as Jesus' first sign—a revelation of His glory.

It started with two words:
“Come and see.”
John pointed his disciples toward Jesus.
Andrew found his brother Simon.
Jesus called Philip.
Philip found Nathanael.
And Nathanael eventually declared:
“Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”
The first disciples didn't keep Jesus to themselves.
They brought others toward Him.
🔥 Today, the invitation still stands:
COME AND SEE JESUS.

John the Baptist had been preparing the way.
Then one day, he saw Jesus approaching.
And he made a declaration that would echo throughout Christian faith:
“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
John testified that he saw the Spirit descend like a dove and remain on Jesus.
Then he declared:
“I have seen and testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”
John's mission was not about making himself famous.
It was about pointing people to Jesus.
🐑 Who is Jesus to you?

Jesus had just been baptized.
Then He was led into the wilderness.
For forty days and forty nights, He fasted—and when He was hungry, the tempter came.
Bread.
The Temple.
The kingdoms of the world.
Three temptations.
But Jesus answered every one with Scripture.
📖 “Man shall not live on bread alone…”
📖 “Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”
📖 “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”
Jesus did not compromise.
He did not need to prove Himself.
He stood firmly on God's Word.
🔥 What are you standing on when temptation comes?

Jesus came to John at the Jordan River.
John hesitated, but Jesus told him:
“Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.”
John baptized Jesus.
Then the heavens opened.
The Spirit of God descended like a dove.
And a voice from heaven said:
“This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.”
📖 Matthew 3:13–17
This was a defining moment as Jesus stepped into His public ministry.
🙏 Life Lesson:
Jesus willingly embraced the mission before Him.

John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness of Judea with one powerful message:
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
People came from Jerusalem, Judea, and the surrounding region.
They confessed their sins and were baptized in the Jordan River.
John also warned religious leaders not to rely merely on their identity or words.
He called them to:
“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.”
And John made it clear that he was not the Messiah.
He was preparing the way for the One who was coming.
📖 Matthew 3:1–12
🙏 Life Lesson:
Preparing for Jesus begins with preparing our hearts.

Mary and Joseph searched for Him for three days.
Then they found Him among the teachers—listening, asking questions, and astonishing everyone with His understanding.
Mary asked why He had caused them such anxiety.
Jesus answered:
“Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?”
📖 Luke 2:41–52
And then Jesus returned to Nazareth with His parents and was obedient to them.
🙏 Life Lesson:
Jesus' identity and purpose were already being revealed, even in His early years.
💬 Comment “JESUS IS MY LORD!” if you believe in Him.

After Herod died, Joseph received another message from God:
“Get up, take the child and his mother, and go to the land of Israel.”
Joseph obeyed.
But when he discovered that Archelaus was ruling Judea, he was afraid to go there.
After another warning in a dream, he went to Galilee.
And the family settled in Nazareth.
📖 Matthew 2:19–23
This is another reminder that God's direction can come one step at a time.
🙏 Life Lesson:
You may not know the entire road ahead.
But you can trust God with your next step.
💬 Comment “LEAD ME, LORD!” if you're trusting God with your journey.
