Last Friday of August.
This month showed up differently for everyone. Some of you hit everything you set out to do. Some of you are closing August with a few things still on the list. Most of you are somewhere in between — and that is exactly where most of August lands for most people.
What matters is that you stayed in it. The calls you made to keep things moving. The connections you held even when it was not easy. The work you did quietly, without anyone watching.
August saw all of it — even when you did not feel like it counted.
It counted.
Rest this weekend. September is ready when you are.

Last Monday of August, please don't call me tony.
For every Nigerian student — this week is the one. The one before the portal opens, before the timetable drops, before the semester starts asking questions you are not ready to answer.
The group chat is already moving. Someone has already posted the resumption date. Someone else is pretending they did not see it.
Whether you are wrapping up something you started this holiday, making that last call home before you head back, or just soaking in the final week of August before everything picks up — BTEL is holding the connection through all of it.

The weekend was good. The rest was deserved. The jollof — hopefully — was excellent.
But Monday August 10th does not care about any of that. It just showed up, same as always, asking what you are going to do with it.
Week two of August is where the month starts separating those who meant it from those who said it. The goals you wrote down on the 1st are waiting to see if you are serious.
BTEL is holding the signal. The work is yours.
