A NEW CHAPTER. A DEEPER PURPOSE. A GRATEFUL HEART.

Today, I celebrate more than another year.
I celebrate growth.
I celebrate lessons.
I celebrate the little steps that have brought me this far.
I celebrate the person I am becoming.

This past year has taught me that growth doesn't always look like having everything figured out. Sometimes, it looks like showing up even when you're still learning. It looks like trying, failing, starting again, discovering new passions, serving others, creating, and choosing to keep becoming better.

I am grateful for every experience that has shaped me, every opportunity that has stretched me, every person who has contributed to my journey, and every lesson that has made me wiser.

As I step into this new chapter, I want to remain intentional about the life I'm building.
To create.
To learn.
To serve.
To impact.
To grow.
To use my gifts meaningfully.
And to become someone whose presence makes a difference.

There is still so much ahead of me, and I am excited about it.

Happy birthday to me. 🥂
Here's to another year of becoming, creating, and making an impact. 🤍

One font can completely change how people perceive a design.

While working on this project, I experimented with different typefaces; Futura,Baba neus font and some others before settling on the final one

Why?
Because fonts don't just display words—they communicate personality.

A bold, condensed font gives a sense of confidence, urgency, and authority.

A script font can feel elegant and personal.
A rounded font may feel friendly and approachable.

Before choosing a font, don't ask, "Does it look nice?"

Ask, "Does it match the message?"
Great design isn't just about choosing beautiful fonts.

It's about choosing the right font.
What's one font you find yourself using over and over again?

Everyone is talking about positioning for opportunities.

Build your portfolio. Create a personal brand. Post your work consistently. Open a domiciliary account. Create a dollar account. Network with people. Apply for remote jobs.
These are all important.

But here's something we don't talk about enough:
While you're growing outward, don't stop growing inward.
The portfolio may get you noticed.
Your skills will keep you there.

As you prepare for opportunities, also prepare yourself.
Learn a new shortcut. Master a new design principle. Study typography. Understand color psychology. Improve your communication. Organize your workspace. Challenge yourself with projects that stretch your creativity.
Because opportunities have a way of exposing whatever you've been practicing in private.

When preparation meets opportunity, confidence follows.
Don't just aim to be seen.
Aim to be ready.

The world doesn't only need creatives who can market themselves. It needs creatives who can consistently deliver value when the opportunity arrives.

Keep positioning yourself.
But keep growing too.
Your next opportunity may be closer than you think.
What skill are you intentionally improving this month?

A designer's workspace is more than just a desk—it's part of the creative process.

Before you begin your next project, take a look around you.

Is your workspace organized?
Can you easily find your mouse, charger, notebook, or other tools?
Or do you spend valuable creative time searching for things instead of creating?

A clean workspace does more than look good. It helps you:
• Focus better.
• Reduce unnecessary distractions.
• Think more clearly.
• Stay organized throughout your design process.
• Capture ideas quickly when your notebook is within reach.

Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference. A tidy desk, a notebook for quick sketches, your essential tools within reach, and even a cup of coffee can create an environment that supports creativity instead of interrupting it.

Your workspace influences your mindset. When your environment is clear, your mind often becomes clearer too.

As designers, we pay attention to details in our work. We should give the same attention to the space where that work is created.

How would you rate your workspace today—organized or cluttered?

There was a time when I believed graphic design was simply about making things look beautiful.

I would spend hours choosing colors, trying different fonts, adding effects, and hoping the final result would impress people.

Then I realized something that changed the way I design forever.

People don't hire designers because they know how to use Photoshop or CorelDRAW. They hire designers because they know how to communicate ideas visually.

That realization shifted my perspective.
Now, every time I begin a project, I ask myself questions before I touch a single design tool.
What story should this design tell?
What emotion should it create?
What action should it inspire?
Why should someone trust the brand behind this design?

This promotional flyer is a reflection of that mindset. Every color, font, spacing, and image placement was chosen intentionally—not just to create something beautiful, but to communicate professionalism, clarity, and trust.

I'm still learning. I'm still growing. Every project teaches me something new, and every design pushes me to become better than I was yesterday.

To every creative reading this: Never stop learning. Software will help you create designs, but it's your thinking that makes your work valuable.

And to business owners: remember that your design is often the first conversation your brand has with potential customers. Make sure it's saying the right things.

Thank you for being part of my journey. This is only the beginning.
What is one thing you look for before trusting a brand or a designer?
