Every pixel has a purpose. If it doesn't, it probably shouldn't be there.

Every element on a screen should have a reason for existing. Whether it's a button, icon, image, or piece of text, it should help users complete a task, understand information, or improve their experience. When we remove unnecessary elements, we create interfaces that are cleaner, easier to navigate, and more effective. Great design isn't about adding more. It's about making every pixel count.

A great interface feels natural and effortless to use. Users should be able to navigate, understand, and complete tasks without constantly wondering what to do next. Good UX removes unnecessary friction and lets the design guide the user quietly. When the experience feels simple, the design is doing its job.

The Best Button Is the One Users Notice

A primary button should immediately stand out.

If every button has the same color, size, and weight, users won't know which action to take first.

Make your primary action:

More visible
Easy to tap
Consistent across every screen

Guide users instead of making them decide.

Quick Tip: Every screen should have one obvious next step.

White space isn't empty space.

It helps users focus on what's important, improves readability, and makes your design feel more premium.

Crowded interfaces overwhelm users. Spacious layouts guide them.

Don't be afraid to leave breathing room between elements.

Clean design or colorful design, which do you prefer?

Before Adding a Feature, Ask "Why?"

One of the biggest mistakes designers make is adding features because competitors have them.

Every feature should solve a real user problem.

Before designing anything, ask:

Who needs this?
What problem does it solve?
Is there a simpler way?

If you can't answer those questions, the feature probably doesn't belong.

Quick Tip: More features don't always create a better product. Better solutions do.

Design for Keyboard Users

Accessibility is part of good UX.

Not everyone interacts with a product using a mouse or touchscreen.

Some users navigate websites using only their keyboard.

Your interface should allow users to:

• Move between interactive elements
• See which element is currently selected
• Open menus and buttons
• Submit forms
• Navigate logically through the page

A visible focus state is especially important. Users should always know where they are on the screen.

Design tip: Don't design only for how a product looks. Think about how different people interact with it.
