We want to ask NGO programme managers a question that doesn't get asked enough: How do you actually know your project is reaching the people it's meant to help?

Not the reports. Not the monitoring visits. Not the data your field officers submit at the end of the month.

We mean, have you spoken to a beneficiary lately? Has one of them been able to reach you easily, on their own terms, without having to find a field officer first?

We've worked with development organisations across Nigeria. And one of the most consistent gaps we've seen isn't in programme design or funding, it's in feedback.

Beneficiaries have things to say. Complaints about how the programme is being implemented. Suggestions that would make the intervention more effective. Reports of things going wrong at the local level that never make it into official channels.

But most organisations don't have a structured, accessible way for beneficiaries to share that feedback, especially from rural or low-income communities where digital channels don't reach.

Here's what a simple solution looks like:
→ An 0800 toll-free number, so beneficiaries can call at zero cost, even with low airtime
→ A managed contact centre handling inbound calls in local languages
→ A structured data capture system logging every call, every complaint, every piece of feedback
→ Weekly reporting back to the programme team on themes, volumes, and red flags

It's not complicated. And it gives development organisations something most of them currently don't have: a direct, real-time line to the people they serve.

If you work for an NGO, INGO, UN agency, or development partner operating in Nigeria, we'd love to talk about what this could look like for your programme.

The problem most growing businesses face isn't a lack of technology. It's too many things competing for their team's attention.

Customer service. Back-office operations. IT support. Software maintenance. These are all important but they don't all need to be done in-house.

Interra's Business Process Outsourcing service takes those responsibilities off your plate, so your internal team can focus on what only they can do: growing the business.

We've been doing this for organisations across the globe for over 20 years, from SMEs to federal government agencies.

What would your team focus on if they had one less thing to manage?

In a contact centre, this matters more than most people realise. A customer doesn't just want their issue resolved, they want to feel understood, in the way that's natural and comfortable to them.

That's why at Interra, our contact centre operations support multilingual interactions, because your customers don't all speak the same language, and your support shouldn't either.

The right language, the right tone, the right response, because good CX starts before you even pick up the call.

Whether your customers speak English, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Fulfude or Pidgin, we've got them covered.

Most businesses treat their contact centre as an overhead, a necessary expense to manage complaints and queries.

The best businesses treat it as a competitive advantage.

When customers reach out with a problem, how that call ends determines whether they stay or leave. One resolution. One interaction. That's the moment that matters.

At Interra, we've been deploying and managing contact centres for Nigerian organisations for over 20 years. We know what makes the difference between a centre that retains customers and one that pushes them away.

Is your contact centre working for you or against you?

Let's talk about it.

Most businesses don't actually need more hardware or software, they need fewer things to manage.

For over 20 years, Interra has helped businesses across Nigeria offload exactly that: customer service, back-office operations, IT support, and software development, so internal teams can focus on growth.

That's the real value of a BPO partner done right.
