HONOURED TO SERVE AS SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER FOR THE LMI ALUMNI MASTERCLASS – COHORT 5

I am delighted and deeply honoured to have been elected to serve as a Sign Language Interpreter for the forthcoming Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Alumni Masterclass for Cohort 5.

For me, this is more than an interpreting assignment. It is an opportunity to contribute to creating a more inclusive, accessible and participatory learning environment, ensuring that Deaf participants can fully engage with knowledge, leadership conversations and the experiences being shared.

As a Special Educator, Certified Sign Language Interpreter and Inclusion Advocate, I strongly believe that accessibility should be integrated into leadership and governance not treated as an afterthought.

I am grateful to the LMI Alumni community for the confidence entrusted to me, and I look forward to supporting this important masterclass.

Eagletech Foundation Promotes Inclusion at Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Workshop in Abuja
Abuja, Nigeria - Thursday, 26 February 2026

Eagletech Foundation proudly provided professional sign language interpretation services at the Capacity Strengthening and Dialogue Workshop for Judicial Officers on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) held at the Abuja Continental Hotel.

The high-level workshop brought together judicial officers and key stakeholders to deepen understanding and strengthen institutional responses to issues surrounding women’s rights, peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and gender justice within the framework of the Women, Peace and Security agenda.

As an organization committed to inclusion and equal access, Eagletech Foundation ensured that participants who are deaf or hard of hearing were fully engaged throughout the sessions. Our interpretation services reinforced the principle that access to justice and participation must be inclusive and leave no one behind.

By supporting inclusive dialogue in critical national conversations such as Women, Peace and Security, Eagletech Foundation continues to promote accessibility, equity, and meaningful participation for persons with disabilities in governance and public discourse.

We remain committed to advancing inclusion across sectors from justice and governance to technology and community development.
