THE BIVREG BIBLE BOARD GAME
BIVREG (Bible Verses Reciting Game) is a comprehensive Bible study and spiritual enhancement tool designed for Christians and humanity at large. Because it links directly with the Bible—the Word of God and Creator of all things—it incorporates all books, chapters, verses, editions, versions, and translations. This includes the Old and New Testaments, the Deuterocanonical/Apocrypha books, and additional biblical texts. Players using the 66-book Bible play within the inner square, while those using versions with 73 to 88 books utilize the entire board.
The inventor, Christian Benedict Eke—also known as Chris Ben Eke (sjc)—comes from the Nde Eke family in Ufukwu, Umuagwu, Umuenyere, Alayi, located in the Bende Local Government Area of Abia State. He conceived the idea and began working on it in 1995. The game was completed, officially launched, and introduced to the world on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.
Since then, BIVREG's influence has spread across Africa and the globe, and it is celebrated annually worldwide on April 7th.
Features of the BIVREG DAY Celebration
To mark the annual BIVREG DAY celebration, participants are encouraged to do one or all of the following:
1. Gift a BIVREG Set: Present a copy of the game to someone or a group of people.
2. Gift a Bible: Share the Word of God by gifting a Bible to others.
3. Play BIVREG: Gather and play the game with people in your local community or anywhere across the globe.
BIVREG is a global evangelization, Bible study, and spiritual enhancement tool. It is designed to be played regularly by Christian families, groups, organizations, and the wider public. The game has no age limits, structural barriers, or sectarian limitations.
