Telecom Namibia works to stabilise network amid service challenges

TELECOM Namibia has acknowledged the recent service quality challenges affecting its mobile and fixed data services, including roaming, over the past few weeks.
The company said in a statement that it is actively working to stabilise network performance through continuous traffic optimisation and technical upgrades.
“Our engineers and technicians are working around the clock to replace critical network elements, while the Network Operations Centre continues to monitor operations closely and has deployed various measures to address any new or ongoing issues,” Telecom Namibia said.
While these improvements are under way, the company cautioned that customers may still experience occasional service disruptions.
Telecom Namibia expressed its sincere appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding during this period, adding that it remains committed to restoring full service reliability as soon as possible.
