Canon has officially introduced the Canon EOS R6 V, a new full-frame mirrorless camera designed specifically for content creators, filmmakers and modern digital production teams.

Unlike previous EOS R models, the EOS R6 V focuses heavily on professional video workflows in a more compact, gimbal-friendly body.

The camera features a 32.5MP full-frame sensor, up to 7K RAW recording, 4K 120fps without crop and Open Gate recording for flexible TikTok, Reels and YouTube content production.

Canon also adds features such as an internal cooling fan, tally lamp and vertical tripod mount, clearly targeting the growing creator economy and solo production market.

The launch is expected to attract strong interest in Malaysia, where the demand for short-form video, podcast production, commercial content and independent filmmaking continues to grow rapidly. With video-first content becoming the new standard across social media platforms, the EOS R6 V could become one of Canon’s most relevant cameras for today’s creator industry.

Why Internet Feels Slower Even With High Speed

You’re paying for fast internet maybe 100Mbps, 300Mbps, or more. But videos still buffer, websites load slowly, and games lag.

So what’s happening?

Internet speed alone doesn’t guarantee a smooth experience. Several factors affect how fast your internet actually feels. One major reason is Wi Fi. The speed from your provider is measured directly from the line, not what your device receives. Walls, distance, and interference can weaken the signal and reduce speed.

Another factor is the number of connected devices. Phones, TVs, laptops, and smart devices all share the same bandwidth. When multiple people are streaming, gaming, or downloading at once, the connection gets divided.

Your router also matters. An old or weak router may struggle to handle modern internet speeds, creating a bottleneck even with a fast plan. Sometimes the issue comes from the platform itself. Services like YouTube or Netflix rely on their own servers. If those servers are busy or far away, loading times may increase.

Latency is another hidden factor. Speed measures how much data you can download, while latency measures response time. High latency can cause delays in gaming, browsing, and video calls.

Background apps, cloud backups, and software updates can also silently use your bandwidth and slow things down. During peak hours, network congestion may also affect performance when many users are online at the same time.

In the end, fast internet is not only about Mbps. Your router, Wi Fi setup, connected devices, and network conditions all shape the experience.

WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new premium subscription called WhatsApp Plus, signaling a potential shift toward paid features while keeping its core messaging services free. Currently rolled out to a limited group of Android users, this plan focuses on enhancing personalization and user experience rather than changing how the app fundamentally works.

With WhatsApp Plus, users can access a range of customization tools, including new themes, accent color options and up to 14 different app icon styles. These features aim to give users more control over how their app looks allowing a more personalized and visually distinct experience.

Subscribers will also receive exclusive content such as unique sticker packs and custom ringtones adding a fresh layer of expression to everyday conversations. For heavy users, the upgrade includes practical improvements like the ability to pin up to 20 chats far beyond the current limit of three making it easier to manage important conversations.

Another notable feature is synchronized notification and chat settings across multiple conversations which is especially useful for users handling numerous groups or business chats, saving time and effort from manual adjustments.

Despite these additions, WhatsApp assures that its essential services—messaging, voice and video calls, group chats and end-to-end encryption will remain free and unchanged. WhatsApp Plus is positioned purely as an optional upgrade for those seeking more flexibility and personalization.

The subscription is currently priced at around €2.49 (approximately RM11) per month in early testing, though a full global release date has yet to be confirmed. This move places WhatsApp in line with other platforms exploring premium tiers for enhanced user experiences.
