Established in 2015 by Audio Engineer Kenix Chua, Begins Acoustic specializes in tailored acoustic treatment And Hi-Fi / AV systems for residential & commercial spaces in Malaysia. Our acoustical treatment products includes acoustical absorbers, diffusors, sound barriers, construction materials, isolation platforms and complete room treatment systems. These products are well-accepted through a wid

e range of building types, including museums, libraries, halls, auditoriums, stadiums, educational facilities, houses of worship and recording studios as well as single and multi-family residences. Environmental and industrial noise assessment subjects have included night clubs, manufacturing businesses, mining operations, hospitals, retail businesses and government agencies. We have 7 years of experience in acoustic treatment for HIFI rooms, studios, home theatre and AV rooms. We believe that our products and services should be cost effective and provide the same quality of acoustic treatment as well known brands in the market that may cost twice as much.

Begins Audio by Begins Acoustic will be closed from 3 June 2026 to 11 June 2026.

During this period, I will be attending High End Vienna 2026, one of the world’s largest high-fidelity audio exhibitions.

This trip is kindly sponsored by Audio Perfectionist in recognition of our Audiovector sales achievement. I am truly grateful for the trust, support, and opportunity given to us.

It is also a meaningful opportunity to meet with our brand partners, discover new products and technologies, and gain valuable insights that we hope to bring back to benefit our customers and the local audio community.

Installing our latest gigantic bass trap design for this beautiful HiFi listening room. And yes… it’s literally taller than me. 😂 So I named it TowerBass Traps!

Standing at approximately 2.4 meters tall, this oversized acoustic treatment was specially designed to help control excessive low frequency build-up while still blending naturally into the living environment.

In high-end audio systems, bass is not simply about having more bass.
It’s about achieving better control, cleaner decay, improved balance and allowing the entire system to sound more natural.

After installation and acoustic tuning, the room immediately felt calmer and more effortless sounding.

The improvements were especially noticeable in:
✔ Better bass control
✔ Cleaner vocals
✔ Improved image focus
✔ More stable soundstage
✔ Greater listening comfort during long sessions

With highly revealing HiFi systems, room acoustics become extremely important because the system itself is already capable of exposing small acoustic problems very clearly.

The objective was never to make the room “dead”, but to create a space where the system can breathe, perform naturally and sound more balanced across different listening positions.
