Are you overloaded with things that need to be done by a certain date, payments to make, appointments to meet and so on? Sure, you can put them in your phone but you cannot stack them or leave your phone with someone to carry out the tasks on your behalf.

What you need is a dedicated program that handles this exclusively and can be accessed easily.

I have a Windows reminder program that I find super useful in handling this. What it does is it pops up first thing when I switch on my computer and my to-do items are displayed colour coded according to the grace period I assign to each.
