So happy to share that 2 of my new artworks will be making their Malaysian public debut at REKA Design Week 2026, presented by Else Gallery!

Translucent sculpture layers make the art really interactive and “distorted” when u observe it from different angles. Like looking into a warping portal.

If you’re around KL, come say hi, have a look, and support some local art. And of course, soak in some design knowledge from the esteemed line-up of speakers at the event.

Bangkok, you were good to me. 🇹🇭

Just got back from Art Fair at The StandardX, Bangkok Phra Arthit and honestly, I had a really good time.

There’s something quite nice about putting your work in a room and watching people react to it without knowing what they’re going to say.

Some people looked at the paintings for a long time. Some came closer. Some asked questions. Some just stood there quietly looking slightly confused. Which, to be fair, is also a perfectly valid reaction to my work. 😂

A lot of my paintings are about how we look at each other, how we present ourselves, and how much of ourselves gets distorted along the way.

So being surrounded by actual people looking at the work felt quite appropriate.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat, bought a piece, asked about the work, or simply spent a few minutes with it.

And thank you Mango Art Festival for the invitation.

Going against the norm and bravely sharing these non-AI, non-finished, totally work-in-progress art pieces awaiting their spotlight at the art exhibition lol…. I think with how social media is going everything is curated and “perfected” to a point of anxiety-inducing frustrationzzz. So here I am showing you a bunch of half-baked but still proud “dishes” cooking in the studio for my exhibit space @ URBAN COLLECTIBLES 2026 Bangkok.

All that’s left is for me to sculpt is a layer of translucent forms over these paintings, so stay tuned for the completed “distorted” art in the full collection of work.
