Are you a researcher?

That's wonderful! You do an important job in enabling understanding of the world. You tirelessly work, and publish your findings. But did you also know that much of what you publish stays within expert groups? It does not reach the broader public at large.

Research should not be a luxury that is accessible only to those who understand the technical jargon, or those with financial capability.

We built brijjd to remove these barriers. Join us, laymanise your work, connect your research to the broader public, and increase the utility of your work.

Let's make the change today! Join @ www.brijjd.com

If the research is not communicated, it may as well have never been done.

An important responsibility for any researcher is to share their passion for their work and its relevance to society. ✅

This means effectively communicating it not just with other researchers both within and outside their field but also the general public or the layperson.

Your research has finally been published! Congratulations. It takes a lot of effort, time and energy to reach this step.

But one thing we often forget is that publishing is not the end of the process, but actually a beginning. The purpose of publishing is to share the knowledge with the world. But for obvious reasons, such as technical jargon, this knowledge does not reach all.

A lot of researchers tend to underestimate the importance of communicating their research in plain language so a broader public can engage with knowledge. This can go a long way in building reputation for your work, building social impact, and even increase the chances of getting grants.

To maximize the reach and impact of your publication, join brijjd and communicate your research to the world in simple language.

Openly communicated science in a way that the public can understand, is critical, as scientific knowledge helps people to be better-informed and make the best decisions possible with the best available knowledge.
