【Smiling Angel 2023 | My OPPO Story】

Hello everyone, I'm Ashley from the SGN Training Team. I joined OPPO in 2017, and it has been more than six years now. I started as a sales representative, and now I'm a trainer. OPPO is not only my first but also my only job.

When I first started as a sales rep, I was introverted and inexperienced in sales. I was afraid to communicate with customers and only relied on product specifications, lacking any sales skills. This approach led to below-standard sales performance, which was very frustrating for me. I began to reflect on myself and received guidance from the trainer at that time, which encouraged me to take the first step towards change. I learned to treat every customer as a friend, which helped reduce my nervousness during interactions and made communication with customers more comfortable, especially when using other common languages (such as Cantonese/Hakka or other foreign languages), increasing familiarity. I also learned how to recommend the most suitable products based on customers' needs and enjoyed the satisfaction of helping customers during the sales process. I am grateful for the guidance from the trainer and believe that the role of a trainer is very special.

After working as a sales rep for over a year, my trainer asked if I wanted to try a different job position. With courage, I took the step to become a trainer. Besides wanting to learn more diverse knowledge, my initial motivation for taking on the challenge of becoming a trainer was to share or impart the knowledge and experience I gained with other sales rep, helping them grow. During my probation period, I realized that being a trainer was highly challenging, especially for someone introverted like me, when delivering product training to numerous sales representatives. I sought help from the training supervisor and observed other trainers' presentation styles. After work, I diligently studied the training materials, drafted scripts for what I wanted to convey, and practiced speaking repeatedly. Before each training session, I arrived early to familiarize myself with the environment and reduce my nervousness. Through accumulating teaching experience and finding the most suitable presentation style for myself, I worked hard to share every product knowledge with the sales rep.

Furthermore, as a trainer, besides having basic product knowledge, I needed to enhance various abilities, such as relationship maintenance. When visiting each sales rep in the assigned area, I spent more time getting along with everyone, finding common topics beyond work to bridge the gap and foster cooperation. I reminded myself to manage my emotions well, isolate external pressures, and not bring work stress and negative emotions to the sales points, which could affect the sales assistants. I remembered a new sales rep who was introverted and struggled to communicate with customers, resulting in poor sales. It reminded me of my past self, and now as a trainer, I could patiently guide and encourage him, providing positive energy to help him grow. It was gratifying to see the improvement and breakthrough of this sales assistant.

In addition to facing challenges in training and managing personnel, I also encountered new challenges in managing promotional projects, such as planning product promotion activities in the area, designing promotional materials, and shooting and editing videos. I felt anxious because I had never dealt with these tasks before, especially when I needed to plan the entire shooting process and explain the content. Fortunately, during each task, I received help from the training supervisor and the team, and we cooperated to complete the shooting. Every collaboration made me realize my growing enthusiasm, even spending time to refer to more related videos and courses. I felt a great sense of satisfaction every time I reviewed my work, but I still aimed to improve and become better.

One of the reasons I can continue to advance in this position is because being a trainer allows me to learn more and is very fulfilling, enhancing my thinking and ex*****on abilities. I am very grateful for everyone I have encountered at OPPO, as well as the help and guidance from colleagues and the support and cooperation from sales representatives. I gradually realized that being a trainer is similar to being a teacher in school, nurturing and guiding every student, which is my mission and responsibility.

Finally, borrowing one of OPPO's mottos: "I continuously strive for progress, and ultimately, I will surely succeed." When facing any difficulties and challenges, we should strive for progress, maintain a firm belief, and stay positive, continuously seek solutions to problems, and eventually overcome difficulties and achieve victory. Only through continuous efforts can we climb to the peak of our careers and discover our personal value.

Hello everyone, I'm Ashley, an OPPO’s trainer. This year marks my seventh year at OPPO, and my OPPO story will continue.

大家好,我是Ashley,来自雪北培训团队。我从2017年加入OPPO,至今已有六年多,从导购转为培训师,OPPO是我的第一份也是唯一一份工作。

一开始入职导购岗位的我是性格内向的销售小白,不敢与顾客交流,只会按照配置介绍给顾客,没有任何的销售技巧,也正因如此的销售方式导致我的销量不达标。当时的我感到非常沮丧,开始自我反思,同时也得到了当时培训师的辅导,让我勇敢踏出尝试改变的第一步,学着把所有顾客都当成是自己的朋友去对待。这个方式除了能有效帮助我降低与顾客交流时的紧张感,还能透过其他共同语言(比如广东/客家话或其他外籍语言等等)让我与顾客可以沟通得更自在,增加亲切感。同时我还学会了如何依据顾客的需求去为他们推荐最适合的产品,并享受在销售过程中帮助顾客的那份快乐,看着每位顾客满意地离开门店也给予我最大的满足感。我也很感激培训师对我的指导,同时也觉得培训师这个岗位非常特殊。

当了一年多的导购后,我的培训师就询问我是否想换个工作岗位尝试,因此我就勇敢地踏出那一步,成为了一名培训师。当初想尝试挑战培训师这个岗位的初心除了想学习到更多不同的知识外,还想要成为像我的培训师一样,把自身学到的知识与经验分享或传授给其他导购,一起成长。在实习期间我就发现原来培训师这个岗位挑战性极高,性格内向的我更是在众多导购面前讲解产品培训时格外害怕和紧张,更不敢有其他眼神交流,就依据产品教材念一遍。之后,我也寻求培训主管的帮助,同时也留意其他培训师在授课时的演讲方式,下班回家后继续恶补,熟悉教材,将自己想表达的内容拟成草稿,再反复练习如何演讲。在每次授课前提早到培训室熟悉环境,降低自己的紧张感。经过屡次的授课经验累积,不断找寻最适合自己的演讲方式,努力让自己能够把每一个产品知识分享给导购们。

此外,身为培训师除了需要具备基本的产品知识,还需提升自身各方面的能力,比如关系维护能力。一开始接管区域到售点拜访每位导购时,除了遇到许多健谈的导购外,当然还会遇到比较不配合的导购。为了能和每位导购打成一片,我会花更多时间与大家融洽地相处,寻找工作以外的共同话题来拉近大家的距离,不会有明显的阶级之分,而是变得像朋友一样,让大家在工作上都能做到互相配合。同时也会时刻提醒自己需把控好自我的情绪管理,隔离外力,不把自身工作压力和负面情绪带到售点,进而影响到导购。还记得之前我的区域来了一位新入职的导购也因为性格内向,不敢与顾客交流而导致销售情况不理想。这让我想起了曾经的自己,而现在身为培训师的我就可以像我当时的培训师一样耐心地指导他,给予他鼓励与正能量,帮助他成长,最终看到这位导购已有所改变与突破时也会感到很欣慰。

除了面对培训与管理人员方面的挑战以外,也会在负责的宣传项目上面对新挑战,比如需要规划区域的产品宣传事项,设计宣传图,拍摄及剪辑影片等等。由于之前未接触过这些事项而感到焦虑,尤其需要规划整个拍摄过程和讲解内容再自导自演,简直就是难上加难。所幸每次执行任务的过程中都会有培训主管与团队的帮助,大家互相合作完成拍摄。每一次的合作让我发现自己越来越有热忱,甚至会花时间去参考更多相关的视频和相关的课程。每一次回顾自己的作品时都会有很大的满足感,但是还是会去进步和改进自己,变得更好。

可以让我在这个岗位继续前进的其中一个原因也是因为培训师对我而言真的是一份可以学习到更多且很有突破性的工作,同时提升自己的思考与执行能力。非常感激我在OPPO工作中所遇到的每一位,还有同事们的帮助与指导,以及导购们的支持与配合。而我渐渐地发现其实培训师就像学校的老师一般,培养和带领好每一位学员,是我的使命与责任。

最后借OPPO格言里的其中一句话:“我不断努力进取,最终我会一定成功”,当我们面对任何的困难和挑战时,都应该要努力进取,保持坚定的信念与积极的态度,不断寻求解决问题的方法,最终一定可以战胜困难并取得胜利。只有通过努力进取,我们才能够攀登到事业的巅峰,实现个人价值。
