Public USB chargers: real danger or overhyped myth? 🔋✈️

“Juice jacking” sounds alarming and while researchers have shown it’s technically possible, there are still no confirmed real-world cases linked to public charging stations.

The good news? On updated devices, the risk is very low. The better news? Staying safer is simple:
✅ Use a wall outlet or power bank
✅ Keep your phone updated
✅ Avoid tapping “Trust” or “Allow” on unexpected prompts

If you’re traveling this summer, it’s worth knowing that fake Wi-Fi, phishing texts, shoulder surfing and device theft are much more common airport risks than juice jacking.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, EDR, and endpoint security solutions
• Good understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and common cyber threats such as malware and phishing
