They evolve quietlyโ€ฆ in the middle of a shift.

Day 2 at PHSA looked something like this ๐Ÿ‘‡
๐Ÿ“ A nurse importing past lab results using OCR instead of typing them line by line.
๐Ÿ“ Dialysis assistants are entering hourly BP readings directly from their phones during rounds.
๐Ÿ“ Vaccination records are finally sitting in one organized place instead of scattered notes.
๐Ÿ“ Billing plans configured and orders finalized smoothly.
No big announcements.

Just small moments where work becomesโ€ฆ lighter.
One comment from the team stayed with me:

Pn Fizah, Operations Manager at JL Mediventure Sdn Bhd, brought together her teams from two dialysis centresโ€”Sepang and Bentong, Pahangโ€”for a demo and refresher training session. Not because something was wrong, but because good systems need regular alignment.
This session wasnโ€™t about โ€œlearning software.โ€
It was about people, workflows, and consistency across centres.
About asking: How do we work betterโ€”together?
JL Mediventure adopted RenalGenie from the very beginning of their centreโ€™s journey.
๐Ÿ’“ Seeing the centres growโ€”along with their teams and patient numbersโ€”has been quietly fulfilling. Not as a metric, but as a sign that the foundations were built with care.

On 5 February, we had the privilege of presenting RenalGenie to the leadership team at CMH Dialysis Care, with the presence of the CEO, COO, Matron, nursing representatives, as well as finance and purchasing teams.

CMH Dialysis Care today supports patients across 11 dialysis centres, each with its own operational rhythm, constraints, and priorities.

What stood out wasnโ€™t just the presentation itself, but the conversation that followed.

Questions were thoughtful. Needs were specific. The discussion was honest and grounded in real operational realities.
So much so that we outgrew the boardroom โฃ๏ธ

โœจ We moved into another meeting spaceโ€”less formal, more fluidโ€”to continue the dialogue. That shift mattered. It signaled intent. Not just to listen, but to co-design around CMH Dialysis Careโ€™s unique requirements and long-term direction.

This is the kind of engagement we value most:
When technology becomes a starting point, not the conclusion.
Weโ€™ll be continuing this conversation in the coming days, with our next session scheduled for 11 February.

From 28 to 30 January 2026, the Genie team had the privilege of conducting a 3-day onsite onboarding for RenalGenie at MAIWPโ€“PICOMS (Batu Muda) โ€” and it was truly an amazing experience.

Day 1 focused on the Clinical Modules, covering the full clinical workflow โ€” from patient registration through to daily haemodialysis data entry. We quickly moved into hands-on practice, with nurses entering treatment data on WDS and RenalGenie, many accessing the system via their mobile phones during the second shift.
The engagement was excellent โ€” attentive, curious, and full of thoughtful questions. The team spirit really stood out ๐ŸŒŸ

Day 2 focused on Billing and Inventory. The team began configuring customers and patient payment plans before finalising daily orders, while inventory processes focused on stock verification and adjustments to ensure system balances accurately reflected actual stock levels. In parallel, the clinical team continued actively updating patient and treatment data in RenalGenie โ€” a strong sign of growing confidence and adoption.

Day 3 brought everything together ๐Ÿ’“ โ€” refining workflows, addressing questions, and strengthening confidence across modules. Open discussions around the transition from paper charts to digital workflows were especially encouraging. These conversations reflect ownership and readiness for change.

โฃ๏ธ What made this onboarding even more meaningful was the presence and participation of higher management, including the Director of Dialysis, who joined parts of the sessions despite their busy schedules. While they were not present for the full training, their involvement sent a clear message of leadership commitment and support to the entire team โ€” a strong foundation for successful implementation.

We were also joined by representatives from other MAIWPโ€“PICOMS centres, who shared their excitement and readiness to get started โ€” some even asking if early access could be granted so their teams could prepare in advance ๐Ÿ˜Š
