Designing for gala. So great to see it all come together. Even better to have it photographed by very talented people.

I love my job. I can’t believe how much has changed since my time here. It’s grown into an organization changing the trajectory of children all around the world.

Hearing speak was also so inspiring. No matter how larger our cup, we can always give something. Whether it’s time or money. I came away feeling inspired to give more of myself to the people around me.

This first wall hanging was a request from based off this second one that I featured at the beehive bazaar!

She sent me the third pic on her wall, and I’m excited to see it up in a place besides my corner. (Although how crazy is it that it totally matches my painting??)

Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away today. As a lawyer, a judge, and a Supreme Court justice, she did so much to fight for the rights of women and created a path for others to do so as well.

My heart is sad that I no longer walk on the same earth as she does.

Coincidentally, I’m working on a project about her for class right now. It’s not quite done yet, so I’m the meantime I’d like to share a previous project I did about feminism and the strength of women.
