During her one month internship at Butterfly Space, Aina dedicated her time and skills to an important project which was lifeguard training.

With many people enjoying Nkhata Bay’s beautiful beaches, having trained lifeguards is an important part of creating a safer environment. She worked with the lifeguard team here to provide training in lifesaving and first aid skills, helping build their confidence and preparedness.

For Aina, one of the highlights was seeing people learn, participate, and enjoy training at the same time.

She also hopes to continue promoting lifeguard awareness and supporting fundraising for essential equipment even when she is in France.

We are very grateful to Aina for sharing her knowledge, time, and passion with us. Her contribution will continue to make a difference beyond her time here.
