PRIME RELAY HANDS OVER WEBSITE TO MZUZU CITY YOUTH NETWORK
Prime Relay Company has officially handed over a newly developed website to the Mzuzu City Youth Network, marking a major milestone in the partnership between the two organisations. The website was launched during the Mzuzu Youth Open Day held at Katoto Ground on Saturday.
The handover reflects Prime Relay’s commitment to supporting youth development through innovative digital solutions. Developed in close collaboration with the Mzuzu City Youth Network, the platform is expected to improve communication, simplify the registration of youth clubs, and create greater opportunities for young people to engage with the organisation’s programmes.
Receiving the website, Mzuzu City Youth Network Representative described the platform as a significant step forward for the organisation.
“The website will help us register youth clubs more efficiently and attract more partners. It also makes it easier for young people to apply and become part of our initiatives. This is an important step towards expanding our reach and serving more youths,” he said.
Speaking during the handover, Prime Relay Founder Jones Thukuta said the successful completion of the project demonstrates the company’s dedication to using technology to create meaningful change in communities.
“We believe technology should be used to solve real challenges and create opportunities. It has been a privilege to partner with the Mzuzu City Youth Network in developing this platform, and we are confident it will strengthen the organisation’s work and empower more young people,” he said.
The launch and handover ceremony was graced by the Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM), Mrs. Rhoda Gadama Misomali, who attended as the Guest of Honour. Also present was Dr. Andrea from the Ministry of Planning, alongside representatives from government, youth organisations, and other stakeholders.
