Today, Glowky took a practical step toward supporting sustainable livelihoods by donating a wheelbarrow, a shovel, and safety boots to one of our fellow neighborhood members who operates a waste management business.
‎For some time, he has been ferrying waste using a broken and delicate wheelbarrow, a situation that posed safety risks and limited his ability to work effectively. Recognizing this challenge, Glowky intervened by providing durable tools to improve his working conditions and support the vital role he plays in maintaining a clean and healthy community.
‎
‎This gesture reflects Glowky’s belief that meaningful impact begins with addressing real, everyday challenges faced by people at the grassroots level.
‎Looking ahead, Glowky remains committed to expanding its community outreach. On 17th January 2026, the organization will be donating items to Kamuzu Central Hospital, Ward 4B, as part of its continued efforts to support health institutions and vulnerable groups.
‎In his remarks, Glowky’s CEO, Prince Msonthi, emphasized the spirit behind the initiative, stating that “it doesn’t take all the resources in the world to give; it takes a giving heart.”
‎
‎He further assured Malawians that this initiative marks only the beginning. Glowky plans to continue giving back through paying school fees for needy students, assisting the handicapped, and supporting the poor and marginalized across the country.
‎At Glowky, giving back is not a one-time act it is a commitment to uplifting communities and creating lasting impact.
