Simple Daily Care to Extend Your IVA Headset’s Lifespan and Ensure Clear, Reliable Call Quality
【Daily Maintenance】
1. After use, hang your headset on a dedicated headset stand near your workstation or place it flat on a clean surface. Avoid tossing it onto the desk or letting it get crushed under other items.
2. Quickly wipe the microphone boom and ear cushions with a microfiber cloth or soft fabric to remove lipstick, oil stains, and dust.
【Weekly Maintenance】
1. Protein leather ear cushions: Gently wipe with a slightly damp soft cloth (e.g., cotton or microfiber), then let air-dry naturally.
2. Velour/mesh ear cushions: Use a soft-bristle brush to lightly remove skin flakes and dust.
3. Microphone mesh cover: Gently brush the outer surface from different angles with a soft brush to dislodge loose dust and debris.
【Monthly Maintenance】
1. Deep microphone cleaning: Dip a cotton swab in a small amount of alcohol and gently clean the microphone sound holes (the tiny openings) to remove accumulated dust and dried saliva residue.
2. Speaker test: Play music or a recorded call and verify that audio from both sides is clear, with no static, distortion, or dropouts.
3. Microphone test: Use your system’s built-in voice recorder to record a short message, then play it back to confirm the mic captures clear sound at a normal volume.
