We're Often Judged By Labels. But Real People Rarely Fit Into One
Everyone is watching the game. I decided to tell a different story.
As the FIFA World Cup 2026 approaches, I created this poster around a paradox that has followed me for years.
People often expect us to fit neatly into categories.
If you're an artist, you should be colourful.
If you're a designer, you should look creative.
If you play football, you should be obsessed with football.
If you work around sports, you should fit the culture and the hype that comes with it.
But life isn't always that simple.
I create with colours every day, yet black is the colour that represents me.
I play football on the pitch, yet I don't spend my time watching every match or following every headline.
I build experiences through design, yet I often feel like an observer rather than someone who belongs to a single group.
For a long time, I thought these differences were contradictions.
Today, I see them differently.
Maybe we are not meant to fit perfectly into one box.
Maybe the things that make us seem different are the very things that make us whole.
This poster isn't really about football.
It's about identity.
It's about embracing the parts of ourselves that don't always make sense to others.
Because what looks like a paradox from the outside often feels perfectly natural from within.
