We’re Hiring: AV & IT Permanent Installation Technician
(On-site)

We are looking for an Audio-Visual & IT Permanent Installation Technician towork on-site in a project-based environment, supporting audio-visual and conference system installations while collaborating with other technical team members.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Audio-Visual/Conference systems OR
• Electronics degree OR
• Two CTS (or similar) certifications
• Experience working in EU institutions or similar environments is an advantage
• Fluent in English or French

Key Skills

• Installation, connection and configuration of complete AV systems
• Knowledge of conference systems (Bosch / Televic preferred)
• Experience with AV cabling and connectors (XLR, BNC, coaxial, network, USB)
• Ability to create or update technical drawings (Visio or AutoCAD)
• Basic knowledge of electricity, networking and AV over IP
• Understanding of AV schematics
• Experience with room control systems (AMX / Crestron / Extron) is an asset
• Ability to self-organise and prioritise tasks in a project-based environment
• Trained to operate and configure AV equipment such as projectors, video processors, SDI cameras, audio processors and videoconference systems

Main Responsibilities

• Work in a project-based context together with other colleagues and technical teams
• Install, dismantle, connect, configure and test complete audio-visual and conference systems
• Perform AV cabling works and equipment installation
• Provide assistance and technical support related to audio-visual and conference installations
• Provide technical support in meeting and conference rooms
• Perform equipment adjustments and component assembly
• Update and maintain technical documentation related to AV installations
• Backup and verify AV device configuration files
• Assist with incident resolution and ticketing systems
• Support project teams and participate in coordination meetings for events
Profile

Punctual, flexible and team-oriented professional with strong organisational and problemsolving skills. The role requires the ability to work independently, climb ladders and lift equipment up to 20 kg.
