The Editor of security solutions trend micro has established the list of tools developed, distributed and commonly used by terrorists, including encryption tools to protect their communications, but also a compiler of information feeds and software of Ddos Attack.
These tools allow members of these terrorist groups to use of technology known without having to trust or to invest in commercial products that offer similar functions, as indicated by trend micro in his report. Some of these tools are always updated, which indicates that there is an active community of developers among the terrorists. The availability of applications of encryption strengthens the argument that, if the governments are demanding of the publishers of encryption solutions to provide them with the keys to decipher the communications and data protected by their products, criminals and terrorists will develop their own solutions of encryption .
Here are the 6 tools identified by Trend Micro:
- Mojahedeen Secrets: this pack of encryption has been in existence since 2007. It is used to secure the e-mails with encryption keys rsa public / private. He also makes it possible to delete emails and files without a trace.

"even if this application is not very sophisticated, it shows that the terrorists actively exploring the disrupter technologies", says even the report of trend micro.
