Monte Vision - Приложение и Интернет-магазины Делаем мобильную коммерцию понятной и прибыльной Welcome to my page. I’m Arthur, engaged in digital since 2003 as a graphic designer.

Among my early advertising designs were works for world-known companies like Chrysler and Mitsubishi. Later, in 2009, I stepped into web design and had the honor of working with amazing people and brands such as Puma, BBC, Route One Group, and the World Bank. During that period, I became deeply interested in human behavior patterns and behavioral psychology and became a fan of pioneers in user exp

erience design such as Jakob Nielsen and Don Norman. Another great discovery was the “Double Diamond” (Discover > Define > Develop > Deliver) paradigm. Since then, I’ve used it as a cornerstone in all the projects I work on. It has proven to be a reliable approach that works well in combination with MVP strategies — essential in today’s fast-paced and uncertain market. To stay aligned with business needs and broaden my expertise, I’ve obtained certifications from Google, Apple, and Autodesk. These helped me support others in avoiding development waste and navigating digital product and marketing challenges. My value proposition is the ability to translate complex concepts into simple user language — built on credibility and trust. With deep experience across FinTech, HealthTech, and logistics, I combine UX strategy, clean UI, and system thinking to help teams launch usable, testable, and business-aligned digital products. I’ve billed over 3,600 hours on Upwork, where around 30% of my clients stay with me for approximately 3 years. My average rating over the past decade is 4.9. If you want to become a UX or UI designer, I recommend starting with my short book:
The Power of UX/UI Design Thinking — Amazon — http://bit.ly/4iPToQl
and the course I co-created with Juan Galvan on Udemy — https://bit.ly/4iYmT2l

I don’t just think in terms of isolated products — I consider how they integrate into your business and the tools you already use or need to implement to improve your workflow and long-term success. If you’re looking for mobile or web application design with deep user understanding, you’re in the right place. Your website's first screen isn't just design. It's strategy.

The hero section is the face of your product. In just a couple of seconds, visitors decide whether they trust you and want to explore further.

So how do you make that screen work for you—not against you?

We recently gathered 10 key principles that help turn first screens into conversion machines:

Start with the user, not the company. Visitors want to see how you solve their problem — not how great your company is.

Design for goals, not for awards. Clean, distraction-free design serves a purpose: helping people achieve what they came for.

Visual hierarchy drives attention. Guide the user's eye using dominant elements, spacing, and typographic structure. Make the next step obvious.

Use strong visuals with clear intent. Hero images should reinforce your message. One screen — one idea.

Motivate through emotion. Emotional triggers (confidence, curiosity, fear of loss) often work better than generic benefits.

Add real or implied benefits. Show not just the product, but the transformation it enables.

Respect their mental load. Simple navigation, clear structure, and generous white space are not optional.

Craft a sharp headline. Make it short, punchy, and centered around the user’s gain.

Test what works. Blurred mockups. Eye-tracking tools. Click maps. These tell you what people actually notice.

Don’t rely on your CTA alone. A button never convinces anyone — but a compelling message can.

Designing a good first screen is never just about aesthetics — it's about aligning your visuals with user psychology, business goals, and product value.

If you're working on a new homepage or rethinking your product’s entry point, we’d be happy to share our approach.

Don’t know how to monetize your app? Start with the easiest option — ads.
If you’ve built something great but don’t yet have a clear monetization plan — don’t let that delay your launch. The simplest way to start is by integrating an ad network like AdMob.

Sure, the revenue will be small at first. But even low-tier ads can help cover basic expenses like marketing or hosting. And if your app is truly valuable, users might choose to remove the ads — by subscribing or making a one-time purchase.

Ads aren’t the perfect business model, but they’re a smart first step toward sustainability.

Why UX Matters for Product Understanding: Lessons from Apple and Google

User Experience (UX) and design are not just tools to increase sales or attract customers. First and foremost, they help users truly understand the product and its functionality, making interaction intuitive and pleasant.

Take Apple’s “Locator” feature, for example — it clearly and simply shows where your loved ones are if they have an iPhone. The interface is intuitive, the design is minimalist, and the user immediately understands how to use the feature. As a result, people feel comfortable and safe, and the product becomes an integral part of their daily life.

Now compare this to Google Maps. Despite its powerful functionality, many users encounter a cluttered interface and complicated navigation. According to Google's official guide, it takes 10 steps to share your location from an iPhone — and that’s just for one feature. Without well-thought-out UX, even the most feature-rich platform can feel confusing and frustrating, pushing users away.

UX isn’t just about beauty or convenience. It’s about helping the user understand — from the very first interaction — how the product solves their problems and makes life easier. That’s what makes a product truly valuable and irreplaceable.

Did you know that 42% of startups fail because there’s no market need for their product? This is one of the most common reasons why promising ideas never make it to a successful launch.

That’s why starting with an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is crucial. Building an MVP allows you to quickly test your hypothesis, gather real user feedback, and validate that your idea truly addresses a market need. It’s not just a tool to save resources, but an effective way to reduce risks and increase your chances of success.

Start small, test your idea, adapt, and grow. An MVP is your first step toward building a product that people actually want.

Designer and AI: Allies, Not Rivals

Well, that’s it. We’re getting replaced. Midjourney draws better than I do, ChatGPT writes more convincingly, and Figma is already suggesting where to place the button.
Be honest—have you had thoughts like that? I sure have. I remember working late on a project, secretly watching an AI spit out ideas faster than I could blink. And suddenly, the thought hit me: “Maybe it’s time to find a new profession…”

But then came a realization—not a lightning bolt, more like a slow sip of aged wine. With observation and reflection.
AI isn’t a replacement. It’s a partner. A reliable one—sometimes a bit overconfident (yes, I’m looking at you, ChatGPT)—but incredibly helpful.

👉 Not an enemy, but an accelerator

Have you noticed how much routine AI takes off our plates?
I used to spend hours searching for references—now I just type a few words into Midjourney and boom, dozens of options. Not always perfect (sometimes people have three chins and seven fingers), but for inspiration? Gold.

One time, an AI helped me come up with a landing page concept for a microgreens startup. I’d never have imagined it myself—floating greenhouses, bioluminescent sprouts, a whole cosmic-future vibe. The client was thrilled.
And I was like: yeah, it’s... collaborative work. Me and my artificial brain.

👉 Where humans are irreplaceable

AI doesn’t understand feelings. It doesn’t know what it’s like to try to make a registration screen not just clear, but warm.
It doesn’t sense when “everything seems right” but something still feels off.
It won’t notice that green in a pharmacy app causes anxiety instead of trust. Or that a user with anxiety needs fewer animations, not a “dynamic interface.”

That’s empathy. Experience. Human insight.

👉 What’s new in 2025?

If last year designers were just “playing around” with AI, this year it’s become a must-have. A few trends I personally love:

AI assistants inside Figma. Not just auto layout anymore—now it’s auto creativity. Say “create a hero section for a sleep app,” and you get a ready-made concept.

Personalized interfaces. Adapting to user habits—like Netflix, but for buttons and menus.

Zero UI. Interfaces without screens—voice, gestures, habits. The minimalism of the future.

AI doesn’t take away your bread. It adds butter and a pinch of rosemary.

🚀 So what’s the takeaway?
AI is like a powerful tool in your toolbox. You can do a lot with it. But whose hands it’s in—that’s what really matters.
It won’t replace our intuition. It won’t feel that “something’s off.”
It won’t catch a client’s awkward smile during a presentation and realize something needs to change.

So no, it’s not a competitor. It’s a helper.
And we? We’re the directors. We’re at the helm.

Built with sweat, late nights, and way too much coffee...

I’ve put together a complete step-by-step guide for anyone looking to turn their app idea into a real product — from first sketch to App Store/Play Market launch.

It’s based on real-world experience, tested workflows, and lessons learned from building dozens of digital products.

If you’re just starting or stuck somewhere in the middle — this might be the map you need.

👉 Would love to hear your thoughts, questions, or feedback in the comments.
And if you find it useful, feel free to like or share it with someone who's building too.

Let’s build smarter, not just harder.
