لوران سيمونز (15 عامًا) طفل بلجيكي موهوب أنهى تعليمه الابتدائي في السادسة من عمره، وأكمل دراسة الماجستير في الفيزياء الكمّية وعمره 12 عامًا في نوفمبر 2025 ناقش لوران أطروحته للدكتوراه بعنوان «البوزونات البولارية في السوائل فوق المائعة والمادة فائقة الصلابة» في جامعة أنتويرب.
، في إنجاز قد يجعله أصغر شخص في العالم يحصل على دكتوراه في هذا التخصص.

فيما حظي إنجاز سيمونز بتغطية واسعة في وسائل إعلام عالمية؛ فقد تناولته منصات علمية وصحف دولية بارزة مثل ScienceAlert وإنديا توداي. وأُطلِق على سيمونز لقب «أينشتاين الصغير» في الكثير من التقارير الصحفية. وقد أُشير إلى أن شركات تقنية عالمية عبرت عن اهتمامها بضمّه إلى مراكز أبحاثها.

يتسم لوران بذكاء فائق وقدرات علمية استثنائية. فقد أظهرت الاختبارات أن معدّل ذكائه يبلغ نحو 145 (مُصنّف ضمن فئة «موهوب جدًّا»).
، وهو مستوى لا يتجاوزه سوى نحو 0.1% من سكان العالم كما يمتلك ذاكرة تصويرية خارقة، وقد وصفه معلموه بأنه طفل يتمتع بتركيز وفضول علمي كبيرين.

الدول التي تعطي القيمة للبحث العلمي وتساعد في ذلك تجدها دائما هي القائد...الكثير عندنا في المغرب لديه مؤهلات ولكن اين المساعدة...فقط مجرد كلمات لا تجدي مع مرور الوقت نفعا؟

أعلنت وسائل إعلام بلجيكية، أن الطفل الموهوب لوران سيمونز، البالغ من العمر 15 عاماً، أنهى هذا الأسبوع مناقشة أطروحته للدكتوراه في الفيزياء الكمّية بجامعة "أنتويرب"، في إنجاز قد يجعله من أصغر الحاصلين على درجة الدكتوراه في هذا التخصص على مستوى العالم، رغم عدم وجود سجل رسمي يوثق مثل هذه الأرقام.

لوران، الذي يُطلق عليه البعض لقب "أينشتاين الصغير في بلجيكا"، بدأ مسيرته التعليمية بشكل مبكر؛ إذ التحق بالمدرسة الابتدائية وهو في الرابعة من عمره، وأتمها عند سن السادسة، وفي الثانية عشرة حصل على درجة الماجستير في فيزياء الكم، متعمقاً في دراسة البوزونات والثقوب السوداء.

وبحسب تقارير إعلامية، يتمتع لوران بذاكرة تصويرية وبمعدل ذكاء يبلغ 145، وهو مستوى لا يتجاوزه سوى 0.1% من البشر.
