🥉 We’re proud to share that Green Leaf AI placed 3rd at the IWRI Water Day Hackathon at UM6P.

This experience helped us push our solution further, especially on the link between plant health, water use, and climate stress.

We joined the IWRI Water Days Hackathon at UM6P - Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

It was a good opportunity to improve our solution for water and climate resilience in oasis systems. We challenged some of our assumptions, refined key features, and got direct feedback from experts. Green Leaf AI fait partie des projets sélectionnés dans le cadre du Hackathon Francophone IA, organisé par Green OpenLab Foundation, en partenariat avec l’IFDD et avec le soutien du Gouvernement du Québec.

Notre solution s’appuie sur la vision par ordinateur pour permettre la détection précoce des maladies du palmier dattier et contribuer à la résilience des écosystèmes oasiens. Cette sélection illustre le rôle croissant de l’IA dans la réponse aux défis agricoles et climatiques. Nous nous réjouissons de participer à cette dynamique et de poursuivre ce travail aux côtés des autres projets sélectionnés.

Nous sommes ravis d’avoir participé à la 1ère édition du Hackathon Agroalimentaire « Innover pour la Coupe du Monde 2030 » à Meknès 🇲🇦

Avec Bendjedid Rachad Sanoussi et Abdoul Razak Harouna Labo, cette expérience a été une vraie occasion de challenger ce que nous construisons avec Green Leaf AI.

A quick takeaway from GITEX Africa 🇲🇦

This year confirmed a few things:
AI is moving fast, but real impact comes from local use cases.
Climate, agriculture, and data are becoming central topics.
And more African startups are building for real field conditions.

For us at Green Leaf AI, it reinforced one idea: keep building simple, useful tools for farmers. Good conversations, new connections, and a lot to build next.
