بكل فخر، نعلن عن اختيار فيلم “الانتفاضة المغيبة 1958” للمشاركة في مسابقة الأفلام الطويلة ضمن الدورة السابعة من مهرجان الدار البيضاء للفيلم العربي في المغرب.
اخترنا أن نعلن هذا الخبر من خلال صورة المناضلة سميرة خوري “أم جابر” في الفيلم، ام جابر إحدى نساء انتفاضة ايار 1958، مناضلة عريقة وصاحبة صوت وموقف هام وموثر، تحية لها، ولصوت النساء الفلسطينيات الذي كان حاضرًا في الانتفاضة، في الذاكرة، وفي ساحات النضال، لا على هامشها.

Official Selection – Feature Film Competition - Casablanca Arab Film Festival
With great pride, we announce that The Untold Intifada 1958 has been selected for the Feature Film Competition at the 7th Casablanca Arab Film Festival in Morocco
We chose to share this news through the image of Samira Khoury “Umm Jaber” in the film, one of the women of 1958, a strong woman, and a voice of courage and dignity.
This is a tribute to her, and to the voices of Palestinian women who were part of the uprising, part of the memory, and part of the struggle, never on the margins.
From Nazareth and Umm al-Fahm, to Casablanca، The Untold Intifada 1958 is being told once again.
