Imagine if every individual had an active and effective social media content page or perhaps every SME had a website for which they could advertise their products. Of course, conditions would be far different as individuals would be able to position for better Jobs and SME’s on the other hand will be able to reach more customers with their products. INNOVATE

If the business of business is problem solving, then Innovation is the number one Job. Innovation could mean "a new idea, a device or simply a different method of doing things’’ Thus as a youth, you should ask yourself this question: What innovative solution can I propose to businesses in my area of interest? AMPLIFY

If every enterprise wants to increase their impact, income and influence then that’s your opportunity. The challenge here is for you to see amplification as an opportunity to scale businesses leveraging Digital tools and resources.

Sometimes, building workplace skills doesn’t look like sitting in a classroom.

Last week, NYSC Corps Members came together at the University of Lagos Sports Complex for an engaging Programme experience built around sports, teamwork and healthy competition.

From Penalty Kick and High Jump to Ball Pick Automation and Box-to-Box Ball Kick, each activity brought something different to the field, coordination, resilience, confidence, discipline and, most importantly, teamwork.

Beyond the fun and competition was a simple reminder: many of the skills young people need to thrive in the workplace are also developed through how we communicate, collaborate, adapt and keep going when things get challenging.

Through YouthEmpowered, we continue to create practical experiences that help young people build confidence, strengthen employability skills, develop an entrepreneurial mindset and connect with others.

A big thank you to the NYSC, University of Lagos, participating Corps Members, partners and everyone who contributed to the experience.

18 years, and the celebration continues.

Behind every programme, partnership, idea and milestone are people who continue to show up, build and carry the vision forward.

Celebrating milestones that tell a story of impact, resilience and partnership.

Yesterday, MindTheGap was represented by Mr Tayo Olosunde and Mrs Ibitola Fabunmi, as the Coca-Cola System in Nigeria celebrated 75 years in Nigeria.

Since 1951, Coca-Cola has grown alongside generations of Nigerians, making 75 years a significant milestone in its journey in the country.

For us at MindTheGap, it was particularly meaningful to share in this celebration as we continue our work as an implementing partner on the NBC Youth Empowered programme, supporting efforts to equip young Nigerians with practical skills and opportunities for growth.

Interestingly, September is also our anniversary month as we celebrate 18 years of MindTheGap.

Different journeys and different milestones, but a shared reminder of what becomes possible when organisations remain committed to people, communities and long-term impact.

Congratulations to the -Cola System in Nigeria on 75 years. Here’s to the years ahead.
