On Friday, January 9, we kicked off our annual winter event ❄️

At first we had Proof IT AI Conference at Radisson Blu Latvia. We explored what it really means to work with AI today — from AI in Action to colleagues’ journeys toward 100% AI-assisted coding, and our place in an ever-changing IT world.

And then… we switched gears 🎸
The evening turned into a full-on Proof IT Rock Party with live music, dancing, a rock music quiz, and plenty of unforgettable moments. Judging by the feedback, many of our colleagues called it our best party ever — and we couldn’t agree more.

Thank you to everyone who made this day (and night) so special. This is what Proof IT is all about — work smart, play hard 💙

We’re proud to share that Proof IT has received individual recognition in this year’s Latvian Diversity is Strength evaluation!

While we haven’t yet reached the highest category, this acknowledgment shows that our efforts to build an inclusive and respectful workplace are being noticed and appreciated — and that we’re moving in the right direction. ✨ We also know there’s still room to grow, and we’re committed to continuing this work in the coming year.

Some of the improvements we made were inspired directly by colleague feedback, and we’re truly grateful for it — and glad that our team feels comfortable sharing what can be improved.

We will keep building a workplace where everyone feels welcome, respected, and able to thrive. 💙

🚀 AI Workshop & Winter Party Recap 🎤🎉

In the middle of January, we had a full-day AI Workshop for the whole company. Since we’ve been actively using AI and developing AI-driven solutions for a while now, this was a chance to dive even deeper—experimenting with new tools and tackling real work challenges in different teams. It was an insightful and hands-on experience!

After a productive day, we celebrated with a disco party—great food, fun games, and passionate karaoke performances. And as the night went on, the dance floor got busy, ending the evening on a high note!

This holiday season, Proof IT decided to focus on giving back. Instead of traditional gifts, we allocated the majority of our Christmas budget to support causes identified as significant:
- An audiologist-canine therapy program that brings joy and motivation to children through the companionship of two therapy dogs during their therapy sessions 🐶
- Supporting Ukrainian soldiers, showing our solidarity with those who continue to demonstrate incredible courage and resilience 🇺🇦
- An animal shelter, offering care, warmth, and safety to our fluffier friends 🐾

All of this, simply because we care! 💙

We also had a wonderful celebration at the office, exchanged Christmas cards received in the Christmas post, and shared small gifts as tokens to remember the positive change we supported.

While the holiday cheer may be winding down, our official Winter party is still ahead—stay tuned for more festive fun! ✨

What an incredible day at the 🏅 Proof IT Olympic Festival 2024! 🏅 Our Proof IT colleagues and their families came together to enjoy a mix of friendly competition, inspiration, and celebration.

Highlights from the day:

✨ We kicked off with exciting competitions and workshops, where everyone showed their team and individual spirit and enthusiasm.
✨ The Youth Olympiad brought out the best in our young participants, reminding us that the future is bright.
✨ We had the honor of meeting hockey player Lauris Dārziņš and Paralympic medalist Diāna Krūmiņa, whose stories inspired us all.
✨ The evening featured an awards ceremony, celebrating the day’s winners and honoring our long-term colleagues for their dedication.
✨ To close out the event, we enjoyed a spectacular fire show and a DJ party.

IT and gaming – is it just a stereotype, or is it our reality? We won't confirm or deny, but we can assure you it was the theme of this year's Proof IT annual Winter Event. 🥳

🎮 An exciting video game tournament took place at our cozy city center office, featuring arcades, PlayStation, virtual reality, and other game consoles.

As the evening progressed at Andrejostas quarter, inevitably turning into a night party, we reflected on the highlights of 2023, celebrated achievements, and teamwork. The event reached its peak with an impressive dance showdown, featuring our skilled team stealing the spotlight and dominating the dance floor. 💃🕺

Prolong the feeling of summer – discover how our extended Proof IT family, along with our beloved ones, came together to celebrate and challenge each other just a little bit on the last sunny days at our Annual Summer Event!

🎈We tested our speed limits at sports games
🎈Felt as gourmands by tasting natural cocktails

🎈And just enjoyed each other’s company
