How to use AI on your website without sounding like a robot 🤖
AI writing tools are fast and useful. But if you are not careful, your website ends up reading like every other site — vague, generic, and a little flat.
Here are 3 things that make the difference:
1. Always give AI your specific context.
Do not just ask for "a homepage headline." Tell it: who your clients are, what problem you solve, what makes you different, what words your clients actually use. The output improves dramatically when the input is specific.
2. Edit for voice, not just grammar.
AI produces correct sentences. Your job is to make them sound like your business. Read it aloud. Would a client who knows you recognise your voice in that text? If not, rewrite the parts that feel off.
3. Add what AI cannot know.
Specific results. Real client situations (anonymised). Local context. Team personality. These are the details that make a website trustworthy instead of just presentable.
AI is a great first draft. You are the editor. The final product should sound like you.
