Designing a full-length magazine from scratch is a massive rollercoaster. It’s one thing to have brilliant articles and stunning photography handed to you, but it’s an entirely different challenge to piece them together so the whole thing feels like a seamless journey rather than a textbook.

Our lead designer, Boree W. Harmon, spent weeks obsessing over the smallest details, making sure the typography didn’t feel cramped, the grids were perfectly balanced, and the visual flow truly did justice to the stories of Liberia’s ecotourism, streetwear fashion, and local changemakers. From heavy feature layouts on Robertsport to making sure local business ads popped beautifully, we poured so much love into every single page.
