ඩිසයිනර් කෙනෙක්ට තමන්ව හොයාගෙන එන හැම Design Project එකක්ම ඉතාමත් වටිනවා, අවසානයේ ඒ Project එක වෙළඳපොළට ආවත් නැතත්. මොකද ඒ හැම Project එකකටම ගත කරන කාලය තුල ලැබෙන අත්දැකීම් සහ ගලාගෙන එන අලුත් අදහස් ඒ ඩිසයිනර්ව තව පියවරක් ඉදිරියට තල්ලු කරන නිසා.

SYM Traders කියන්නේ ඒ වගේ Project එකක්.

ඔවුන්ගේ නව ව්‍යාපාරය සඳහා Logo එකක් සහ Brand Identity System එකක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමේ වගකීම මා වෙත පැවරුණා. Project එකේ මුල් අදියර සාර්ථකව ආරම්භ වුවත්, පසුව ඔවුන් තම ව්‍යාපාරයේ දිශාව වෙනස් කරමින් නව Business එකක් ආරම්භ කිරීමට තීරණය කළා. ඒ හේතුවෙන් SYM Traders Project එක අතරමඟ නතර වුණා. ඒ වෙනුවට, ඔවුන්ගේ නව ව්‍යාපාරයේ Branding Design කිරීමේ අවස්ථාව නැවතත් මා වෙත ලැබුණා.

ඒ නිසා, වෙළඳපොළට නොපැමිණි මෙම Logo Concept එක මගේ Design Journey එකේ තවත් එක් මතකයක් ලෙස ඔබ සමඟ බෙදාගැනීමට සතුටුයි. නව Branding Project එකත් ඉදිරියේදී ඔබ වෙත ගෙන එන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා.

OneZ කියන්නේ ලංකාවේ සංගීත කණ්ඩායම් වෙනුවෙන් මම කරපු 05 වෙනි Branding Project එක. Sunshine, Xpressions, Shiksha, Narcos වගේම ආසාවෙන් කරපු වැඩක්.

මේ Project එක මට විශේෂ මොකද OneZ සංගීත කණ්ඩායම මෙතනදී Logo Concepts 03ක් ඉල්ලීමක් කලා. ඉතින් එයාලා වෙනුවෙන් කරපු Design Concept තුනෙන් අවසාන වශයෙන් එයාලගේ Official Logo Visual එක විදියට තෝරගත්තේ මෙන්න මේ Design Concept එකයි. Logo Concept එක Finalized වුනාට පස්සේ සුපුරුදු විදියටම සංගීත කණ්ඩායමට අදාල Brand Identity Design සියල්ල එකින් එක නිර්මාණය කිරීමත් මගේ අතින්ම සිදුවුනා.

OneZ ගැන කතා කරද්දි අනිවාර්යයයෙන්ම මතක් කරන්න ඕනි, ඒ වගේම ස්තූතිවන්ත වෙන්න ඕනි ප්රධාන චරිතයක් මේ Project එක පිටිපස්සේ ඉන්නවා. මේ Project එක පිටිපස්සේ විතරක් නෙවී කලින් මම සඳහන් කරපු සංගීත කණ්ඩායම් 04 වෙනුවෙන් මම කරපු Branding Projects පිටිපස්සෙත් ඉන්නේ ඒ චරිතයම තමයි. Prasad Lakmal අයියව බොහෝම ගෞරවයෙන් මතක් කරනවා. කලින් Projects වලදිත් අයියව මතක් කරපු නිසා මේ Project එකේදී නොකලොත් ඒක අඩුවක් කියලා හිතුවා. Prasad Lakmal ගොඩක් ස්තුතියි මාව Recommend කලාට. ඒ වගේම Leonard Perera මහත්මයාටත් ස්තුතිවන්ත වෙනවා OneZ කියන Brand එක ලෝකෙටම ගෙනියන්න එයාලගේ Visual Identity එක ගොඩනගන වැඩේට මට කතා කිරීම සම්බන්ධව සහ මා කෙරේ තැබූ විශ්වාසයට. ස්තූතියි!
