Microsoft has introduced a new π†πžπ­ 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 π‹π’π§πžπ¬ action on Purchase Invoices, and it makes the whole "matching process" much more flexible πŸ‘

You can now:

βœ… Pull in order lines that are received but not yet invoiced
βœ… Even include order lines that are not received yet

The best part - you’re no longer restricted by receipts. You can match a single invoice line with multiple purchase order lines, whether receipts exist or not.

πŸ“Œ If receipts exist β†’ you’ll see all the relevant details
πŸ“Œ If not β†’ you can still match directly to the PO lines

You can also open 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 π‹π’π§πžπ¬ from each invoice line (or header) to review, adjust quantities, add lines, and check price/amount differences. Plus, PO lines now show a Matched Invoice Lines field for better visibility πŸ‘€

Business Central Tip: Quote Validity Calculation in Sales & Receivables Setup

You can automatically populate the Quote Valid Until Date on Sales Quotes by using the Quote Validity Calculation field in Sales & Receivables Setup.
This field allows you to define a date formula, so Business Central calculates the quote expiry date based on the Document Date.

For example, if you want the quote to expire a specific number of days after creation, you can enter the formula here, and Business Central will automatically fill in the Quote Valid Until Date.

It’s a small setup, but it helps save time and keeps quote validity consistent across documents.
