සයිබර් ආරක්ෂාව තුළ AI – තර්ජනයක්ද? මෙවලමක්ද?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) අද සයිබර් ආරක්ෂාවේ ලෝකය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම වෙනස් කරමින් පවතිනවා. අදකාලයේ හැකර්වරු AI භාවිතා කරමින් ඉතා යථාර්ථයට සමාන phishing email නිර්මාණය කිරීම, malware ප්‍රහාර ස්වයංක්‍රීය කිරීම, ආරක්ෂක දුර්වලතා ඉක්මනින් සොයාගැනීම සහ deepfake වංචා සිදු කිරීම වැනි කටයුතු කරමින් සිටිනවා. කලින් විශාල දක්ෂතාවය සහ කාලය අවශ්‍ය වූ ප්‍රහාර අද automation හරහා තත්පර කිහිපයකින් සිදු කළ හැකිය.

නමුත් AI භාවිතා කරන්නේ ප්‍රහාරකයින් පමණක් නොවේ. ආරක්ෂක කණ්ඩායම්ද AI භාවිතා කරමින් real-time threat detection, network anomaly monitoring, automated incident response සහ risk prediction වැනි කාර්යයන් ඉතා කාර්යක්ෂමව සිදු කරමින් සිටිනවා. අද Security Operations Centers (SOC) තුළ AI මගින් තත්පරයකට සිදුවන සිදුවීම් දහස් ගණනක් විශ්ලේෂණය කළ හැකිය – එය මනුෂ්‍යයකුට පමණක් කළ නොහැකි දෙයකි.

එහෙම නම් AI හොඳද? නරකද?

ඇත්තටම AI තනිවම හොඳද නරකද නොවේ. එය භාවිතා කරන ආකාරය අනුව එය තර්ජනයක් හෝ ශක්තිමත් ආරක්ෂක මෙවලමක් විය හැක.

අනාගතයේ සයිබර් ආරක්ෂාව ජයගන්නෙ AI සහ security fundamentals දෙකම තේරුම්ගත් වෘත්තීයවේදයින් විසින්ය. PH4NTOM තුළ අප විශ්වාස කරන්නේ දැනුවත්භාවය, අඛණ්ඩ ඉගෙනීම සහ ප්‍රායෝගික පුහුණුව මගින්ම ඩිජිටල් ලෝකයේ ඉදිරියෙන් සිටිය හැකි බවයි.

🔍 Phantom CTF Workshop Series – Forensics Session Completed 🧠💻

The Phantom Cyber Security Club at CICRA Campus has successfully completed the third session of our ongoing CTF Training Workshop Series! 🚀

This time, we dived into the world of Forensics for CTF 🕵️‍♂️💾 teaching participants how to analyze digital evidence, extract hidden data, inspect files, and investigate network traffic. These skills are crucial for cracking forensic challenges in Capture The Flag competitions 🧩🔐.

It was a hands-on, interactive session filled with real CTF scenarios and practical experience. ✅

⭕️Phantom CTF Workshop Series – Cryptography Session Completed🔥

The Phantom Cyber Security Club at CICRA Campus successfully conducted the second session of our ongoing CTF Training Workshop Series!

This time, we explored the fascinating world of Cryptography for CTF — diving into the art of encryption and decryption, classical ciphers, encoding techniques, and how they’re used in Capture The Flag challenges.

Participants got hands-on experience solving real CTF-style crypto challenges and learned how to approach and break down cryptographic puzzles.

Another step forward in building skilled ethical hackers. Stay tuned for the upcoming sessions in the series!

⭕️ Phantom CTF Workshop Series – First Session Done 🔥

The Phantom Cyber Security Club at CICRA Campus successfully completed the first session of our ongoing CTF Training Workshop Series!

We started the series with a 4-day Linux Fundamentals workshop, focused on building essential Linux skills for cybersecurity and CTF challenges. The first day of the workshop was held physically at the campus, providing hands-on experience, while the remaining three days were conducted online with interactive and practical sessions.
