What was planned as a 1-hour meeting turned into 90 minutes of insightful exchange with the IFC - International Finance Corporation Cambodia team. 🤝

A key insight: agriculture - Cambodia's most climate-impactful sector - is not yet covered under the Sustainable Finance Taxonomy. The reason? Data collection has always been the bottleneck.

Both teams see agriKredit™ as the infrastructure to close that gap.

Great to be part of the DGI Forum Asia-Pacific in Manila last week! 🌏

konektAgri joined the main stage as a panelist on Earth Observation and pitched at the DGIx Innovators Showcase alongside fellow innovators from across the region.

A recurring theme: how open satellite data like Copernicus can power practical, on-the-ground innovation in agriculture and finance. For us in Cambodia, that intersection is exactly where we work every day.

Last week, the konektAgri team had the pleasure of participating in the Digital & Green Innovation (DGI) event, hosted by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ Cambodia) at Impact Hub Phnom Penh. 💫

We were proud to contribute to the discussions and share insights into how satellite-powered data can transform agricultural finance. 🌾📊

During the event, our team presented konektAgri’s platform and demonstrated how financial institutions can:

In Cambodia, one in six agricultural loans fails. The risks are high for lenders, because it's hard to comprehensively assess and monitor a farmer's loan without integrated data on farm history, climate risks, crop health, etc.

Ultimately, this makes it harder for farmers to access affordable loans.

konektAgri is changing this with agriKredit. The platform integrates farm and satellite data to provide real-time, intelligent insights for financial institutions. This allows lenders to make better lending decisions, and improves fair access to credit for farmers.

With agriKredit, both sides gain transparency and confidence, paving a brighter path forward for Cambodia’s agricultural economy. 📊💰🌱
