Why do you want to transform them?

Men Mao is a musician and member of Medha, a Siem Reap-based women's drumming troupe.

During our conversation about her life and art, she spoke about the her desire to challenge stereotypes about women by playing instruments such as tro Khmer, chapei, and drums - instruments that women do not often learn to play.
