On 16 September 2026, NeXTra collaborated with NIMD Kenya to facilitate a session on “Amplifying Youth Voices Through Digital Strategy” during the ongoing NIMD Democracy School for young aspirants.
The Democracy School cohort 1, running from 13-19 September 2026, brings together young people aspiring for various leadership positions ahead of the 2027 elections, providing a platform for learning, reflection, networking, and leadership development.
Our session explored how young leaders can use digital platforms strategically to communicate their ideas, engage communities, build meaningful conversations, strengthen their public presence, and participate safely and responsibly in the digital space.
With 20 young aspirants in the room, the conversation went beyond simply understanding technology. It was about finding your voice, communicating with purpose, building trust, and recognising the role digital spaces can play in modern leadership and civic participation.
For NeXTra, this collaboration reflects our commitment to equipping emerging leaders with the digital skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate an increasingly digital society.
Young leaders have voices. Digital strategy can help those voices reach further, engage better, and create meaningful conversations.
