KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN — THE BEST IS STILL AHEAD

Sunday, 30 August 2026

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him."
— 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)

Thirty days of opened eyes. Thirty encounters with a God who was always present, always providing, always moving — in the thicket, in the desert well, in the widow's jar of oil, in the fist-sized cloud, in the field Ruth stumbled into, in the bush that burned without being consumed. In every story the same truth — He was already there. We just needed eyes to see it.

And yet this verse reminds us that what we have seen so far is still only the beginning. The best of what God has prepared has not yet entered the eye of any human being. The opened eyes of this month are not the ceiling — they are the starting point. You are not seeing everything yet. You are just beginning to see. Keep your eyes open. Keep your heart expectant. What is coming is beyond what this month's devotionals or any human language could fully contain.

PRAYER ❤️

Father, thank You for thirty days of seeing. What You have shown me this month has changed me. But I know I have only begun to see. Keep my eyes open for everything still ahead. I love You and I trust You with what I cannot yet see. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

Write down the three most significant things God has opened your eyes to this month. Those are not just insights — they are foundations for what is coming next.

ELIJAH SAW RAIN IN A CLOUD THE SIZE OF A FIST

Saturday, 29 August 2026

"The seventh time the servant reported, 'A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea.' So Elijah said, 'Go and tell Ahab, "Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you."'"
— 1 Kings 18:44 (NIV)

Three years of drought. Six times his servant went to look and came back with nothing. And on the seventh time — a cloud the size of a man's fist. Barely visible. Easily dismissible. Most people would have said — keep watching, that's not enough to count on. Elijah said — tell the king to move. Rain is coming.

He saw abundance in a fist-sized cloud because his eyes were trained to see what God was doing rather than what was not yet visible. That tiny cloud was enough for him because he knew the God behind it. Open eyes don't need the full manifestation before they respond in faith. They see the small sign and recognise the God it points to. What small sign has God been showing you that you've been dismissing as not enough to act on?

PRAYER ❤️

Lord, train my eyes to see abundance in small signs. I don't need the full rain before I believe — I just need to see Your hand in the cloud. Open my eyes to the small things You are already showing me. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

Look for one small sign of God moving in your situation today — however tiny. Treat it the way Elijah treated that cloud. It is enough to act on.

SEE — HE IS DOING A NEW THING

Monday, 31 August 2026

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
— Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

We close where we opened. The same verse. But you are not the same person who read it on August 1st. Thirty one days of opened eyes have changed what you can see. The ram in the thicket. The well in the desert. The army on the hills. The burning bush beside the path. The cloud the size of a fist. The field that wasn't accidental. The door already placed and already open.

You have been seeing all month. And now God says it one more time — See. Not as a question anymore. As a declaration. As a commissioning. You have been given eyes that are open. Now go and live like it. The new thing is springing up. The way in your wilderness is being made. The streams in your wasteland are already flowing. You are not the same. And what comes next — September, and everything beyond it — will be faced by someone whose eyes are open. Go and see.

PRAYER ❤️

Father, I close this month with eyes more open than when I began. What You have shown me I will not forget. I go into September seeing — seeing You, seeing what You are doing, seeing the new thing springing up. Lead me forward. My eyes are open. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

Go back to August 1st. Read what you wrote. Then write where you are now. The distance between those two entries is a month of God opening your eyes. That is your testimony. Carry it into September.

THE HARVEST IS ALREADY WHITE

Friday, 28 August 2026

"Don't you have a saying, 'It's still four months until harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."
— John 4:35 (NIV)

The disciples were thinking in natural timelines. Four months until harvest — that is just how farming works. But Jesus was pointing at something they couldn't see with natural eyes. The fields were already white. The harvest was already ready. The opportunity was already present. They were standing in the middle of it without perceiving it.

How many opportunities has God placed directly in front of you that you have been dating four months into the future? The person who needs to hear your story — they are already in your life. The open door — it is already there. The assignment — it is already ripe. Jesus is saying the same thing to you today that He said to the disciples by that well. Open your eyes. Stop calculating the future timeline of something that is ready right now.

PRAYER ❤️

Lord, open my eyes to what is already ripe in my life. I stop postponing what You have already made ready. Show me the harvest that is already white and give me the courage to step into it. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

What opportunity or assignment have you been putting off as not yet time? Ask God if it is already ripe. You may be four months late to something that has been ready all along.

WHAT JOSEPH SAW FROM THE PIT

Thursday, 27 August 2026

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done."
— Genesis 50:20 (NIV)

Joseph said this after years of slavery, false accusation and prison. He had been in the pit, in Potiphar's house, in the dungeon — and in every single location, the text says the same thing: the Lord was with Joseph. Joseph couldn't always see the destination. But he could see God in every stop along the way. And that sustained vision of God's presence through every dark place is what kept him from bitterness long enough to reach his purpose.

Open eyes don't always mean seeing the full plan. Sometimes they mean seeing God in the place you are currently in — even the pit, even the prison, even the moment of betrayal. Joseph's eyes were open not to the throne in Egypt but to the Lord who was with him in the dungeon. And that was enough to keep him moving. You don't need to see the end from here. You just need to see God from here.

PRAYER ❤️

Lord, I don't need to see the full plan today. I just need to see You in this place. Open my eyes to Your presence right here — in this pit, in this prison, in this waiting room. That is enough. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

In the place you feel most stuck or most betrayed — look for one evidence of God's presence there. He was with Joseph in the pit. He is with you in yours.

OPEN EYES CHANGE HOW YOU PRAY

Wednesday, 26 August 2026

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
— Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)

Before open eyes, prayer is mostly asking God to fix what we can see. After open eyes, prayer becomes a conversation with Someone who sees everything we don't. The shift is significant. You stop telling God what to do about the visible and start asking Him to show you what He sees about the invisible. You stop praying about the surface and start praying into the depths of what He is already doing.

God's invitation here is remarkable — call to Me and I will tell you things you do not know. Not just answer your existing questions. Show you things beyond the reach of your current vision. Prayer with open eyes is not a monologue of requests. It is a dialogue where God is actively showing you things — about your situation, about your calling, about what He is doing that you cannot yet see. Have you been letting Him show you?

PRAYER ❤️

Father, I call to You today not just with my requests but with open ears and open eyes. Show me the great and unsearchable things I do not know. I want to see what You see. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

In your prayer time today — after you have spoken, stop and listen. Ask God: "What do You want to show me that I cannot currently see?" Write down what comes.

THE DISCIPLES SAW WIND — PETER SAW AN INVITATION

Tuesday, 25 August 2026

"'Lord, if it's you,' Peter replied, 'tell me to come to you on the water.' 'Come,' He said."
— Matthew 14:28-29 (NIV)

Twelve disciples in a boat. Storm. Middle of the night. Jesus walking on water toward them. Eleven of them saw an impossible situation and stayed in the boat. Peter saw something different — he saw an invitation. He saw that if Jesus was out there, then out there was the safest place to be. And he asked to come.

Peter gets remembered for sinking. But before he sank — he walked. He was the only human being besides Jesus to ever walk on water. And it started not with great faith but with open eyes that saw what the others missed — that Jesus on the water was not a threat, it was a call. The storm was real. The waves were real. But so was the invitation. What invitation from Jesus have you been treating as a threat because the surrounding conditions look too dangerous?

PRAYER ❤️

Lord, give me Peter's eyes — to see Your invitation in the middle of the storm. I don't want to stay in the boat when You are calling me out onto the water. I am coming. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

What is Jesus inviting you into that fear has been making look like a threat? Take one step out of the boat today.

SEEING THE INVISIBLE

Monday, 24 August 2026

"By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king's anger; he persevered because he saw Him who is invisible."
— Hebrews 11:27 (NIV)

Moses left everything — status, palace, security, the most powerful empire on earth — because he saw someone nobody else in that palace could see. The invisible God was more real to Moses than Pharaoh's visible army. The unseen promise was more solid to him than the seen comfort. And that way of seeing — faith as a form of vision — is what sustained him through forty years of wilderness leadership.

This is what open eyes ultimately produce. Not just the ability to see what God has already provided in the natural — but the ability to see Him. The invisible made visible through the eyes of faith. When you can see God clearly, everything else finds its proper size. Pharaoh looks smaller. The wilderness looks shorter. The promise looks closer. The whole journey of opened eyes leads here — to seeing Him who is invisible and finding that He is more than enough.

PRAYER ❤️

Lord, let my eyes be fixed on You — the invisible One who is more real than anything I can see. When I see You clearly everything else finds its right proportion. Open my eyes to You above all else. Amen.

TODAY'S MOVE 🕊️

In whatever is overwhelming you today — deliberately shift your gaze from the visible problem to the invisible God. Spend five minutes seeing Him instead of it.
