They tell you Python is "easy" compared to Java.
How cute.

Sure, if your life’s ambition begins and ends with printing “Hello World” without a boilerplate public static void main roadblock, it’s a paradise. No curly braces, no rigid type declarations, just pure, unadulterated vibes.

But easy syntax is a psychological trap; it is not the same as easy mastery.

Python lures you in with a friendly, pseudo-English smile. But the deeper you venture into the production abyss, the more it humbles you. Java forces you to face your architectural demons upfront at compile time. Python politely waits until 3:00 AM in a live production environment to let a hidden, untyped NoneType attribute error rip through your microservices.

Real Python isn't about writing quick scripts to parse a CSV. Anyone can do that.

Real Python is a high-wire act of discipline. It’s about enforcing robust design patterns, guarding your system architecture against structural rot, mastering asynchronous concurrency, and deploying defensive design thinking. It is the brutal art of forcing a highly dynamic language to yield clean, deterministic, and bulletproof code that survives real-world chaos.

Lately I’ve been studying viral food videos 🍰🔥—not for the virality itself, but to extract how food actions are actually performed (for example, the step-by-step process of baking and decorating birthday cakes). That knowledge feeds directly into an integrated bakery management and cooking-assistance system I’m building. The goal is for the system to understand cooking actions, not just display content.

As I design these modules, AI is constantly in the loop—helping me reason about action representation, retrieval logic, and how best to structure knowledge for ex*****on. Whether I’m refining RAG behavior, selecting the right Hugging Face models, working with PyTorch, or cleaning up AI-introduced Python quirks, it’s all in service of the system.

AI is a daily instrument for me. As an Applied AI Engineer, a typical day means opening an LLM to reason about my AI APIs, with FastAPI as the backbone for exposing and orchestrating these capabilities in production.

Top AI lab.

Unlimited momentum.
A seat at the table everyone in tech wanted.

Most people spend their whole lives trying to enter rooms like that.

He walked out.

Not because he failed.
Not because he was forced to.
Because he believed something deeper:

“Good” can become a trap when you can already see “great.”

So he left OpenAI…
and started from zero again.

No guarantees.
No applause.
Just conviction.

People thought he was leaving security.

What he was actually chasing…

People think AI engineers spend all day building magical superintelligence from scratch.

Reality:
“Claude, why is my Docker container emotionally unstable?”

The funniest part is explaining this to non-tech people.

“So you build AI tools?”
— Yes.

“And you still use Claude?”
— Aggressively.

At this point, half of engineering is just professionally asking smarter autocomplete to save you from your own decisions.

And before someone says “real engineers code without AI” —
bro, farmers still eat other people’s food.😂

Optimization > ego. 🤝
