Imagine trying to run a business where your most critical assets are hidden underground. That’s what traditional farming feels like. You guess the soil moisture, pray the humidity holds, and hope the nutrients are balanced.
Over the past few weeks, our team has been working to change that.
To you, we bring SMARTFARM. A modern system that connects NodeMCU sensor nodes to an AI powered dashboard giving real time visibility and monitoring of your soil, nutrient level, humidity, temperature, pH and water among others in all types of growing environments.
It works in three steps;
1. Sense: Here, the NodeMCU sensors do the work of collecting the above named types of data after every 30 seconds.
2. Transmit: Data streams to firebase realtime database over Wi-Fi/Lora. One advantage is that this works both online and offline where offline buffering ensures no data is lost
3. Understand: Visualization of trends and firing threshold alerts happens here. We have also added our AI agronomist to give you personalized advice.
SMARTFARM works for commercial greenhouses, urban/balcony gardens, house plants, hydroponic gardens and even open field farming.
