GIVE A SKILL. CREATE AN INCOME. CHANGE A LIFE.

Imagine being willing to work, having the determination to succeed—but having no money to acquire the skill you need to earn a living.

This is the reality facing many vulnerable women and young people in Kenya.

IDEA College (Independent Daughters Eco-Learning Africa) exists to change that.

We provide practical, eco-friendly skills training designed to help vulnerable women and youth become self-reliant and financially independent. Our programs include fashion and design, hair and beauty, baking and pastry, computer skills, agribusiness and entrepreneurship, electrical wiring and plumbing.

Our goal is simple: don't just give someone temporary assistance—give them a skill they can use to build an income and transform their future.

🎯 Our current goal: Raise $10,000 to support 50 vulnerable women and youth with skills training, learning materials, equipment and entrepreneurship support.

Every contribution matters.

💙 $10 can help provide learning materials.
💙 $25 can contribute toward practical training.
💙 $50 can help provide tools and training resources.
💙 $100 can help support a trainee's journey toward self-reliance.
💙 $500+ can help sponsor several trainees.

Donation amounts represent suggested contribution levels; actual allocation will depend on project needs.

IDEA College is registered by the NGO Board of Kenya and is committed to empowering vulnerable communities through practical skills and sustainable opportunities.

You see that cousin, niece, or nephew in the village eagerly waiting for your next visit… because they know you show love by tipping a few hundreds? ❤️

But pause and think:
No matter how much cash you give, it may not truly transform their future. The money is spent… and the cycle continues.

What if instead of just giving money, you shared a skill?
What if you invested in knowledge that lasts a lifetime?

That KSh 5,000 you barely notice on fuel or small expenses…
👉 could sponsor a young person to learn computer skills or applied arts
👉 could open doors to employment or self-reliance
👉 could fuel a life — not just a day

Knowledge empowers.
Skills sustain.
Education multiplies impact.

Let’s move from handouts to empowerment.

💻 Can you help a small ICT class grow?

IDEA College is a community-based training college dedicated to empowering young people through practical skills and education.

We’re currently supporting an ICT class, and we’re looking for 3–6 used but working desktop computers or laptops. A few of our machines are no longer repairable, and replacing them would make a real difference for our students.

Even older desktops or laptops are perfectly fine.

✔ Used but working computers
✔ Small quantity (3–6 units)
✔ Local Pickup available
✔ For education, not resale

If you can help, or know someone who might, please comment below or send us a message. If you can’t help directly, sharing this post could help us reach someone who can ❤️
