๐ DONโT JUST RANK. BE THE ANSWER.
Search is changing rapidly. Your next customer may not scroll through several Google results before choosing a business. Instead, they may ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity or another AI-powered search platform for an immediate recommendation.
They could ask:
โWhich is the best web design company in Kenya?โ
โWho offers reliable SEO services near me?โ
โWhich company can revamp my business website?โ
The question is: Will AI mention your businessโor recommend your competitor?
This is where GEOโGenerative Engine Optimizationโcomes in.
GEO is the process of improving your website, content and overall online presence so that generative AI systems can understand your business, recognise your expertise and consider your brand when producing relevant answers.
Traditional SEO helps your website appear and rank on search-engine results. GEO extends that visibility into AI-generated answers, recommendations, comparisons and summaries.
SEO helps people find you through search results. GEO helps AI understand why your business deserves to be included in the answer.
At Afix Smart Web, our GEO approach focuses on:
โ
Analysing your current visibility across AI-powered search platforms
โ
Creating clear, authoritative and answer-focused website content
โ
Structuring your services so AI systems can understand them easily
โ
Improving schema markup and structured business information
โ
Strengthening your brand, expertise and topical authority
โ
Optimising frequently asked questions and direct-answer sections
โ
Maintaining consistent business information across the internet
โ
Combining SEO and GEO for wider digital visibility
โ
Monitoring opportunities to improve mentions, citations and recommendations
GEO is especially important for businesses in competitive industries such as website design, real estate, tourism, healthcare, legal services, construction, e-commerce, hospitality and professional services.
It is not a magic shortcut or a guaranteed AI recommendation. It is a long-term strategy that strengthens the information and authority signals AI systems may use when selecting sources and generating answers.
The future of online discovery is no longer limited to ten blue links. Customers are increasingly looking for direct answersโand your business must be positioned to become one of them.
Donโt wait until your competitors become the brands AI trusts first.
Get your business ready for the new era of search with Afix Smart Web GEO Services.
