A final look at the latest flower coloring books—and a pause.

After months of publishing and promoting, it feels like the right time to step back, give the catalog room to breathe, and listen to what happens without constant pushing.

A fresh selection of apps and digital experiments from Bored Giant. Take a look at what’s new today. 👇

One prompt. ~60 images. One very strange context crossover.

An experiment in Gemini image generation raised a bigger question: **is conversation length really a good measure of AI workload?**

I dug into it. 👇

September starts with frogs, toads, lizards, chameleons, geckos, snakes, crocodiles, alligators, salamanders—and roses. 🐸🦎🐍🌹

A new collection of coloring books is here. 🎨

Same idea. Same basic prompt. Tiny changes.

The AI-generated excavation images kept getting better.

No explicit scoring. No elaborate feedback loop.

So what improved—the model, the prompt, or me?

I'm still not sure.

🔄 What if you could rescue a data-analysis workflow by simply editing an old message?

When you're working with large datasets, files, calculations and iterative instructions, one small mistake in the original prompt can sometimes send the entire workflow in the wrong direction.

But editing that earlier message can change more than just the wording. It can potentially give the conversation a cleaner set of instructions and allow the analysis to proceed from a corrected starting point.

I’ve been thinking about what this means for practical data analysis workflows—especially when working with ChatGPT, spreadsheets, CSV files and Python.

It raises an interesting question:

👉 Could message editing become one of the most useful tools for recovering complex AI-assisted workflows?

I wrote about the idea here:

If you work with data analysis, Python, spreadsheets, AI assistants or large files, I'd love to hear whether you've experienced something similar.
