Insights into software engineering - from our Software Engineer, Kevin Heng.

During my university years, I initially perceived software engineering as simply writing code. However, my perspective significantly transformed upon entering the professional work environment.
I recognized that the discipline encompasses planning, testing, and discussions, extending beyond mere coding. A crucial attribute of effective software engineers is the capacity to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
With rapid AI advancements increasing efficiency, software engineering can shift focus from solely coding to optimizing development and shaping effective solutions. This allows more time for architectural discussions and prioritizing the user experience.
