W E L C O M E to Hilery !! She's been a part of DIG since the Fall and she has elevated our designs in such an amazing way ... swipe to check our her look book.

This mama of 3 has a natural talent that people spend years in school trying to obtain. She listens to her clients in a way that even I am taking note. Being a fellow military wife, we understand change on a crazy level and this one can pivot in both life and design in such beautiful ways.

Looking forward to seeing the magic she creates this year with us!!

H E L L O to 2 0 2 1 !!

This is a year for C H A N G E..and with that comes being uncomfortable.
This is a year for G R A C E ..and with that comes an open heart.
This is a year for L O V E..and with that comes patience.
This is a year for G R O W T H..and with that comes listening.

We are here for all of it. With beautiful white kitchens and modern metal staircases comes the bad carpet and terrible popcorn ceilings ... and we are here for all of it.

We don't only take on the easy jobs that look pretty. We also take on the hard jobs that look tricky. This is true in both work and life. *sigh*

We are P U M P E D to have you on this ride with us. Here is to finding J O Y in the junk!

I don't know about you, but this quarantine has made me super bored with my own home.

The pink and green walls no longer excite me ... the accessories are annoying ... the allure of the tiny home adventure has reached it's max.

I've been left to change my shelves every week to prevent myself from going crazy. I am reminded that the smallest adjustment can make a huge impact ... which is true of life as well as home decor, right?

So go on and make that change. Switch your picture frames for your lamps and swap your Netflix binge for a skateboard sesh. It will give you + your space new life.

It's a good season for a book.
A good time to paint that wall a new color [ Hunt Club here].
The right time to finish that puzzle.

Whatever you're doing, do it responsibly. Just because the world is re-opening, it does not mean the virus is gone. Long from it, actually.

Wear your masks.
Wash your darn hands.
Call your friends.
Check in on your family.
Support your local business via the world wide web.

Remember to give grace right now ... everyone is going through this wild time in their own way with their own story.

Believe that there are better days ahead. Somewhere. And until then ... read that book, hug your animal and finish that puzzle.

These are very weird time we find ourselves in: We have to wear gloves to go grocery shopping, we are working next to our washing machines and are willing to pay $12 for a roll of toilet paper.

We do this so that we can combat the biggest threat to society and our economy right now: a virus. We must do our part to be responsible in our actions to slow this spread. We have never encountered a time when both our lives and our jobs were both under fire at the same time.

During this time where you are sending invoices with one hand and homeschooling with the other, know that we are with you ... in our LaundrOffice! Here is to all of you warriors working at home, schooling at home and just STAYING AT HOME.

Tag us in your new workspace so we can all cheer one another on from at least a 6' virtual distance.

Well, that was a much deserved rest!

Social media innately acts as our calendars these days ... being able to see when we did what and with who [or is it whom?]. And it is up to us to input that information so it will properly track our lives.

What happens when we get so busy that we don't provide these platforms with the data? Clients are where our focus has been lately, which does not make for a very accurate calendar on our part. Buuuuut, we are okay with that.

Today we celebrate local. My morning routine caught my attention today as I realized how many products / items / services I use on a daily basis that come from my backyard. [This month, our backyard is Salt Lake City and next month it will be L.A. // so stay tuned to some of our local Cali faves!]

From the skincare regimen to wake me up [] to what cleans my house [], I am reminded of the local makers that create product from the earth.

Then I get dressed [looking sponsored by and ] and grab some grub and the Shrek smoothie from my favorite woman-owned spot . I am constantly reminded of those makers that take the time to create the bags I'm carrying while giving back to the refugees, or create something to wear that is made down the street.

We are really proud of our team when it comes to stagings // not only are they creating this beautiful space for the homeowner to show, but they are creating a space that actually functions.

When we come in to stage, it isn't just the designers that we bring. We bring our handyman to make sure everything is in top top shape. We bring our assistants to ensure that we are curating a complete design story. We bring our cleaning crew to create a spotless home to show off. And, of course we bring Twizzlers to fuel our team! 😉

There is more to a project than just the pretty picture. It is the love and sweat that goes in behind the scenes. Next time you go to an Open House, just remember the T E A M it took to bring you that gorgeous space.

It is all in the details.

These G O R G E O U S custom closet doors were just installed in our client's bedroom and we are in looooooove with them!
We bring on artists to our team for a reason. The magicians we work with that do our woodwork are two in a million ... these two talented men have created some of the most amazing pieces for our clients. They both work with wood in different ways and we couldn't do any of it without either of them.

Here is to Keith, Paul and any other woodworkers out there honing their craft!

There is no way that we can do it all on our own. A year ago, this lovely lady joined DIG as the first Designer outside of my self. Ashlee brought this vision to the team that I never had. She was refreshing with her color choices and she was bold with her compositions. She knew how it went together and how best to put it together.

She came from the woodworking / construction side of the industry which has been so valuable for us. was her first baby and I have about 10 items in my own home + staging inventory from shopping at her pop-ups before I even realized just how talented she really was. She is the Interiors to my Architecture.

We are opposite in the design world and we handle clients differently ... and that is a beautiful thing and it works really well. The balance exists because the respect, trust and value exists. We may be a small design studio, but we are mighty!
