Vampire savior on the Sega Saturn. The third game in the series in the popular capcom series. When the first game arrived in arcades vampire/dark stalkers, I was amazed by the both the beautiful animation and the blood/gore. Vampire savior feels a bit lighter than the original but makes up for it with loads of extra characters and moves. In my opinion the characters seem a bit unbalanced but at the same time I feel it’s more of fun game than a serious competition fighter. segasaturn gaming retrogames capcom arcade

Sorcerian for the sega mega drive. One that stood out for its out standing artwork. Easily recognizable by the phantasy star 2 artist Hitoshi Yoneda. The game itself is challenging in Japanese and so I can tell little about it. This is a collectors only title and like many interesting games the design itself makes it worthy of a collection.

For some phantasy star 2 is one of the greatest games of all time. But one of the unsolved mysteries was the US cover. It summed up the sci-fi world and ‘mother brain’ in the background. However as the art was unsigned it’s not known on pretty much any site. But recently I discovered it’s the artist ‘Paul lehr’. It’s not actually documented anywhere but there’s no doubt it’s him.
