"Real-time" gets thrown around a lot. The only definition that matters: fast enough to change the outcome.

Data that arrives after the decision is just a report. The value is in the window between a signal appearing and an action being possible.

You do not need more charts, you need clearer choices.

🔴 Is your data helping you react or just helping you explain what already happened?

A working prototype feels like the finish line. It's usually the halfway point.

The gap between "it works on the bench" and "it ships by the thousand, reliably, for years" is where most connected-product ambitions quietly stall. Component sourcing, design-for-manufacturing, testing at scale, field reliability, certification, none of it is glamorous, and all of it decides whether the product ever reaches a customer.

We don't stop at the prototype. Ermit supports industrialization, supply chain and manufacturing readiness, so the product that ships is the product you designed, not a compromised version of it.

Everything we build is designed to perform outside the lab.

🔴Got a prototype that needs to become a product? Let's map the road to production.

Most IoT products don't fail at launch. They fail 18 months later.

Firmware that was secure on release day slowly becomes a liability as the threat landscape shifts. The problem is rarely the initial code: it's that so many products have no reliable way to update in the field, verify what's actually running, or detect anomalies after deployment.

Shipping a connected device isn't the finish line. It's the moment a multi-year security responsibility begins. Certificates expire. Vulnerabilities get disclosed. Devices drift from their known-good state.

Designing for that lifecycle up front: verified updates, hardware-backed identity, on-device monitoring, is what separates products that age gracefully from products that become tomorrow's breach headline.

🔴 If your device shipped today, could you still trust it in 2028?

The hardest bugs in a connected product don't live inside a layer. They live between the layers, where the firmware meets the electronics, where the model meets the sensor, where the cloud meets the field.

That's exactly where vendor-assembled stacks break down. Every handoff is a place for accountability to leak.

At Ermit, one team covers mechanics, electronics, software and intelligence in a single end-to-end process. We bring advanced technology to every project, but always calibrated to the real problem: a product that works, not a showcase of what's technically possible. And we don't stop at the prototype: we support industrialization, supply chain and manufacturing readiness, so the product that ships is the product you designed.

One team accountable for the whole product. That's what "Physical AI you can trust" is built on.

🔴Building across hardware and software? Let's scope it together.

The next interface for physical products won't be a screen. It will be a voice: one that listens, understands context, and answers in real time.

So we're prototyping on Reachy Mini: the open-source, expressive desktop robot from Hugging Face and Pollen Robotics.

For us it's the perfect testbed: a low-cost, fully open platform to experiment with speech models, wake words, turn-taking and on-device latency before any of it goes near a real product. And because it runs and simulates locally, we can push voice interaction hard without shipping data anywhere.

The lesson keeps repeating: the fastest way to learn Physical AI is to put it in something that moves, listens and talks.

🔴 What would you build if your product could hold a conversation?

Most IoT devices aren't hacked at launch. They're compromised 18 months later, when the firmware that was secure at release meets a threat landscape that moved on.

As a proud partner and authorized reseller of Exein, we bring embedded cybersecurity into the product from the inside.

Exein Analyzer scans firmware for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and regulatory gaps, before and after deployment, with a prioritized action plan, and integrates natively with Yocto and BuildRoot.

Exein Runtime embeds directly into the firmware for continuous behavioral monitoring, anomaly detection and real-time threat response, even without an internet connection. On the Ermit Secure IoT Module, it runs natively as an integrated component.

Security isn't a feature you add at the end. It's the architecture you commit to at the start.

🔴Want your device to defend itself in the field? Let's talk.

A dashboard that shows everything shows nothing. For complex systems, the hardest design work isn't adding features, it's deciding what the operator should never have to think about.

Technicians and operators work under pressure. They don't want raw telemetry; they want to know what's happening, whether they need to act, and what to do next. Every extra number is a tax on that decision.

Great interfaces for cyber-physical systems do three quiet things well: they surface the one signal that matters right now, they make the safe action obvious, and they keep people in control when it counts.

That's a design discipline as much as an engineering one, and it's usually the difference between a product that gets adopted and one that gets tolerated.

🔴 When was the last time you removed something from your UI to make it better?

Our client made professional sanification devices and wanted to make a fundamental shift: from selling hardware to selling sanification-as-a-service.

To make that model work, they needed full remote visibility and control over every deployed unit.

We designed and built the complete IoT stack. The platform monitors air quality in real time, schedules devices remotely, and, critically, enables predictive maintenance by surfacing anomalies before they become failures. Operators manage a single unit or an entire network from one place.

Every layer, hardware, firmware, connectivity, cloud, UX, built as one modular, scalable system designed for long-term field deployments.

Turning a product into a platform? That's the shift we engineer.

Software AI predicts. Physical AI acts — in the real world, through hardware, with consequences.

A model that recommends a movie can afford to be wrong. A model that fires an airbag, doses medication, or controls a machine cannot. The moment intelligence touches the physical world, reliability stops being a feature and becomes the whole game.

That's why Physical AI can't be built in layers by separate vendors. Sensors, electronics, mechanics, firmware and the model have to be co-designed — because latency, power, noise and failure modes are decided at the boundary between them.

The winners in this next wave won't be the teams with the flashiest model. They'll be the ones who can make intelligence survive contact with reality.

What would it change for your product if the AI actually had to be trusted?
Let's talk.

Elite performance has always depended on understanding what's happening inside the body — but that data used to live only in a lab.

Oxypeak changed that. At its core is a wearable that measures VO2 max in real time during activity — the truest indicator of cardiorespiratory efficiency and athletic capacity. It captures continuous physiological signals, processes them on-device, and turns raw metrics into actionable insight.

Every layer — hardware, intelligence, software, experience — engineered as one coherent product.

Turning a physical signal into a decision? That's what we do.
