Motherhood feels like a phase where people slowly reveal themselves to you….including yourself.
Your child shows you a softness and depth of care within you that you may have never noticed before.
The mothers you meet teach you what friendship during motherhood should actually feel like….safe, transparent, honest and free from judgment, while still caring enough to gently call you out when needed.
And then there are connections that look like friendship on the outside, but are quietly built on comparison, insecurity or competition. Motherhood somehow makes you notice that too.
And marriage….motherhood changes the way you see that as well. It reveals support, patience, partnership and emotional presence, or sometimes the absence of it.
This phase really has a way of revealing people for who they truly are.
Happy Mother’s Day 🤍
